Style Score:
Unique voice, vivid prose, fits the tone. Makes reading a vibe.
Each POV had their own personality, style, tone, attitude and flaws.
There were no similarities to the POV's, or their plot roles.
Story Score:
Gripping, layered, smart. I was emotionally invested. Plot twists land like punches, tho I think if handled a bit more better the twists could land unpredictably.
Some of the tension and suspense were cut short and the conflict intro sudden (e.g. the scene with Klaus' betrayal).
Otherwise, the engagement with the story and each of the main characters were gripping and curiosity peeked.
Grammar Score:
Clean. Crisp. Barely a typo in sight.
No long tedious and prolonged paragraphs.
Tho there were many single sentences which made the flow harder to follow. They felt like beats and this usually broke the tension.
Character Score:
Deep, flawed, consistent, and make you want to hug or punch them. Preferably both.
We got POV's of all sides (heroes, villains, anti-heroes, support characters) which brought out a lot of story potential and diversity.
None of the mc's shared similarities in personality, characteristics or traits which brought a full on burst of experience with their plotlines and arcs.
OVERALL:
This isn’t just another spacey drama with laser swords and philosophical mumbo jumbo. No. This one? It’s the next big deal. Think the ambition of Star Wars, the brains of Star Trek, the emotional gut punches of Battlestar Galactica, Avatars creative worldbuilding, The Martians sense of comedy—all spliced together with something fresh, gritty, and weirdly personal.
The worldbuilding? Massive. You can smell the ozone off the engine rooms and feel the cold math of space politics closing in. The characters aren’t just plot devices—they breathe. They argue, break, learn, and carry trauma like real people trying to survive in a collapsing world.
