I really liked the story's opening and pacing, but I can't really enjoy it in its current state.
The style takes a radical creative choice with its dialogue, but it does not land right. The choices the author made with dialogue distract from the story and slow down the flow the book could have.
The story is interesting and leaves me wondering what will happen next, but I can't really see the problems with it just yet due to the grammar and style issues.
The grammar is also an issue within the book as it is exacerbated by the poor style. However, this seems like a relatively new book and a first draft is never perfect.
The characters are really hard to understand and sympathize with; again, the poor style makes it impossible to determine the personality traits of each character.
Overall: I think this book is passable for average RR content, but fails to live up with the current popular series on the site. If the author wants to get there, the author must adress the current issues before continuing, as it's almost unreadable in its current state. In terms of premise and story, I think this book has the potential to be one of the best, it just really needs its other departments to catch up to its level. I hope this is not taken as a harsh and mean review, as I want to help the author identify some problems to really make this story a competitive piece on RR. Hope to see more soon!
