Weird West is a fun genre and a post magical apocalypse one is even better! The story starts strong, good characters. It's a sort of trope-y monster of the week style romp across a devastated and harsh world. Our rogueish protagonist is a lot of fun and every time he gets in a predicament you can't wait to see how he's going to get out of it.
This story really shines with the lore. The characters are exploring the world and it shows. Every time a little anecdote about the past world is brought up it just has you wanting more!
Definitely recommend to all fans of the Weird West genre. To all non-fans of the genre: you'll be one after reading this story!

The author has created an intriguing setting that blends the western, post-apocalyptic and fantasy genres. Through this combination they produce imaginative fight scenes and a compelling world that plays to the strengths of each. The storys is told through the eyes of its protaginist Arc, a gritty magical gunslinging bounty hunter who along with supporting characters Jack & Julie do battle with range of foes from post apcolyptic bandits to ghosts & goblins with each encounter serving to further develop the setting. I would highly recommend fans of any of these genres to check out this series.

I have read the first 5 chapters and I'm enjoying the read so far. I think the characters are interesting and portrayed well, and the plot is well-paced. I like how pragmatic the main character, Arc, is and how he can care for the young twins for whom he has assumed responsibility whilst also not tolerating the disrespectful behaviour. He seems like a good role model in a dystopian situation.
