Binged in a day till chapter 27, looking forward to seeing how it develops.
Storytelling is good. leveling system is a little less straight forward, which I enjoy. The chemistry angle gives it a bit more depth. A few chapters could use a edit for some mistakes and readability, but nothing too major.

SPOILERS: Nothing specific but the tone of book 1.
I honestly really enjoyed this as far and think the story is good and well written, however it's pretty depressing to me. I understand why and its a good read but I was hoping for something more upbeat and happy and book one is definitely not that by the end. You should definitely read it because the story is really good and well written and I enjoyed it however personally I didn't like the direction the story went and was hoping for something happier.

So far, I've really enjoyed this story. It focuses on the more scientific side of the fantasy world and how the main character can use it to her advantage, although so far we have only seen a very small and isolated piece of this world. In the last chapters, this story has raised an interesting moral dilemma, and I am very interested in how it will develop in the future.

Only a little bit in but I already find myself eager for more. Cas, the main, is introduced as a thinker who occasionally trips up doing things. Definitely relatable. As is her bit of loopiness S’s given how her world has changed. So far does a really good job at introducing the shift in worldview and how out of place Cas is. Also, really interesting to see the biologist perspective of a system.

Saw an ad, gave a click. Landed in a chapter instead of the story page, which nearly made me leave. However, once I got to the story page, the synopsis was interesting and I decided to give it a chance.
I don't regret it - this is a fun story! The worldbuilding is intriguing and the character feels quite authentic. Though we don't know too much about her past life or death, her thoughts feel fairly authentic to what I would expect from a late stage Assistant or early stage Associate Professor, or possibly more someone working for years as a post-doc - a somewhat experienced and published researcher, likely around 3-6 years after getting a PhD, and overall somewhat inexperienced in life. Additionally, the worldbuilding seems quite well thought out so far.
Honestly, the character and worldbuilding have carried this one so far, and I am eagerly anticipating more chapters.

Aqua Regalia is a strong and unique entry in the monster-reincarnation LitRPG genre. One of its biggest strengths is the character development, which is honestly top-tier. Cas is a well-written protagonist who relies on intelligence, curiosity, and scientific reasoning rather than brute force. Her perspective makes the story feel fresh, and her growth as a character is both natural and engaging.
One thing that really stands out is how Cas being Black is never treated as a defining characteristic. A lot of stories make a big deal out of a character’s appearance, but here, it is barely mentioned. When it does come up, it is usually in the context of a joke rather than something serious. This makes her feel like a real person rather than a stereotype, which is really refreshing.
The writing style is descriptive and engaging, with strong world-building and well-integrated LitRPG mechanics. However, the Tarak Village arc is not well-paced. While it starts off interesting, it drags on too long towards the end, making it feel stretched out.
Grammar-wise, the writing is generally good, but there are some minor mistakes here and there. They do not make the story hard to read, but some careful editing could improve the flow.
The plot also has a lot of potential, and if it keeps developing in a meaningful way, it could become something truly great. Overall, this is a well-written and enjoyable story with great character development and room for an exciting narrative.

Life when you're squishy and acidic is hard.
But at least she has a friend now.
I am curious though. Has Cas found out where her brain is yet? What is she going to do about the oasis? Not to mention the new shape-shifting powers. Next week wings?? Enquiring readers want to know!
I have been enjoying this so far, and apparently I need to write more words before I am able to submit this.

InfiniteWanderer seems to have alot in common with Thundermoo. I’ve not read much but thus far I’ve found high quality writing. High quality world building. An excellent  trans-human protagonist. And abundant cruelty delivered onto said protagonist.
It also seems like the author might possess the staying power to complete this story. But it’s not for me.

It's a typical monster-reincarnation sort of story at first, but the tone of the story gradually moves away from that.
The protagonist is much less a murderhobo than most in this particular genre, which is a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, it also seems to be the sort of story where the protagonist is metaphorically kicked repeatedly while trying to do the right thing.
The world is interesting, the writing solid, and the characters believable. One may find it fairly easy to hate nearly everyone who isn't slimy, though. After a while, I honestly started wondering why she continues to talk to people around her.
