Apotheosis of the Godforsaken Mage

What place does a godforsaken soul have in a world where the blessings of gods heavily impact the growth of the individual?

The world of Ithyllius has dangerous beasts, ranging from packs of disease ridden mutts, to goliaths that can wipe cities off the map, yet most of the conflict of man is inflicted upon them by their own hands, due to each and every man having the ability to control mana, an integral part of life and energy, as well as having the blessings of gods that provided extraordinary boons and protection, which led to periods of relative peace.

Lucian, a boy from a small town having potential in controlling mana, yearns to be a mage; individuals that control mana and excercise their will on the world. However, due to circumstances out of his control, Lucian lost his godly blessings. Determined to follow his dream of being a mage, Lucian strides forward with the extreme handicap imposed on him.

-> This 3rd person limited story is a Progression Fantasy with some elements of LitRPG similar to Danmachi (like 90% Progression Fantasy and 10% LitRPG). It has the perspectives of 3 focal characters, including our MC Lucian,  through which the story is written. However, as Lucian is still the main character, most of the chapters will be focused on him.

-> There is no system here that pops up in your face anytime you level up; similar to Danmachi, where Bell gets his stats when Hestia does some weird shit on his back with a paper, there's a organisation that handles that the stats(will be explained in the story) and the stats will be shown only when our MC wants to see how far he has progressed and goes to said organisation.

-> If I had to compare the combat to a game, it would be strategic like in Divinity: Original Sin 2, where you manipulate the environment to gain an advantage, or just bulldoze your way to the top if you plan carefully (magic system will be explained in the story).
