Everybody has dreamt of being powerful, everyone has wondered what it would be like and what they would do if they were given strange abilities or superpowers. But would you believe it if you were really offered them?

Frank Lepari didn't believe it when he was offered his choice of powers, and selected powers he thought sounded cool and practical. It was only after that he realized that he wasn't hallucinating, that he was really given superpowers and that the Earth was truly under threat of invasion from another world. Now he has to train, go from the lazybones slacker he was before and become a living weapon for mankind's fight against a series of unexpected and ancient foes.

Follow Frank through adventures on Earth and beyond as he tries to prepare himself and other awakened members of humanity for a life altering calamity and the world shattering effects of its arrival. One step, one teleport jump at a time.

Overall a good start to the story with lots of potential for the future!
Style: Feels normal to me for RR. Pacing etc. doesn't really feel like an issue or anything, and the style of the writing itself is pretty easygoing and quick to read, which is always nice.
Characters: The MC is a kind of lazy loser type who is presumably gonna grow and change a lot as the Apocalypse comes and the world integrates and all that. I'll have to read further to see how his character turns out. I was surprised (even though it was in a dream) how quickly and easily he came to terms with fighting for his life and killing things, but I assume it comes up more later.
Story: I like it! It's a fun take on System Apocalypse. I love the idea of him using his teleportation superpower to make income in the regular world by delivering food etc. I would definitely read a whole story about someone using their powers in a regular world like that.
Grammar: I noticed a few typos, but nothing crazy and it didn't really take me out of the story.
