A Very unique MC with a strange personality and a bunch of weird friends!
An interesting story with a Lot of funny elements and plenty foreshadowing!
I really like It so Far, the worldbuilding, the caracteres, the comedy and Major Chicken as a hero!
The way the author incorporates real world elements into the system is Very Nice too!

I love everything about this. The MC is solid, the system is sassy, the cat is chaos, the flower is adorable and the clam mimic with huge cannons is brilliance crystallized.
I'm very much looking forward to what happens in this beautiful amalgamation of tropes turned on their heads.
Can't wait for Basil to meet up with other survivors in his bathrobe, coffees while the survivors are reenacting some apocalypse movie.
    It will be glorious!

Bloody hell this is a fun read. Anything that is cohesive, well paced, and packed with great writing is a winner.
Basil is entertaining to read about, with his team of monsters... Ehem pets being just as quirky and lovable. The story is engaging with not too much exposition into explaining the levelling and dungeon systems. But still good enough to draw me in.
A good balance of humor, fun and action. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun read, with chuckles and laughter aplenty.

I just love this story! It is a fun, fast-paced adventure with engaging, well-fleshed-out fantasy characters and locales. One sees towns of our present day through the filter of this post-apocalyptic world and characters who perhaps externally differ from what we are familiar with but who still have emotions and traits we can find within ourselves.  Every chapter is greatly anticipated and then too quickly finished.

Pretty early on in the work, but it seems that it'll be a trope defier with the main character being a disgruntled Frenchman living with a cat and farm animals in a friend's house that was designed to survive nuclear war. At a guess, it'll follow the standard jerk with a heart plot.
Since it's Void Herald, we can assume at minimum light comedy and a completed story, both things that I enjoy seeing.

I am not really that familar with the author's other works and started reading the first volume very shortly after it started publishing.  I enjoyed the combination of humor, soul and horror artfully woven togetehr throughout the series.
The committment to the chapter naming scheme is fun, but perhaps what made me enjoy most was Basil's unfaltering committment to his faith.  This is such a strong contrast to the dozens and dozens of stories about kids with powers who scoff at religions and are inevtiably proven correct to doubt that the 'fantastical' faiths do *anything* good.  Throughout the work, the author builds beuatfiul scenes, touching moments and binds it together with humor and style.

Captivating plot, very likeable characters, believable and well done character developments. Basil and bis crew of tamed "monsters" who soon become family, hard to point out which one I love best. Weaving the idea of leveling-up because a mysterious system has changed the world into a dangerous place where everybody either fights or dies made this plot one of the unique ones by doing it so very well.
Basil has a good hart, he believes in second chances. Plato, his faithful cat, is with him from the start. The others, he tames because he sees that their is more to them than meets the eye. They are all fascinating in their own way. However, if I had to choose, I would settle on Rosemarine. She is just incredibly charming in keeping her naivite even while growing very powerful.  Then we have Vasi, she is a witch, but becomes so much more. A fascinating leading lady with a background in Outremond, get's Basil some in-laws that would make simpler men quake in their boots.
The story starts out in France, centers on Earth. However, the evil that came to Earth has ill intensions expanding to cosmic dimensions. Earth literally is resting in the hand of gods. So many fascetts to this story keeping you in their grip. And lots and lots of very well done battles all across Europe.
    I loved it all!
Vainqueur, my beloved dragon from the other books of the author, makes his appearance, too. And as always, his unique view on things got me smiling.
Could not find any faults with grammar.
All in all, a marvellous story, draws you in from the first page. So very well done!

City life aint for this MC. Hes relaxing / retired in the country side with his wit, his cat, and the rest of the forest is against him.
Classic witty banter dialogue is as expected. System is fairly standard.
Unknown what plot direction this is going to go. I don't see this guy going to the dungeon, but almost expect a base builder type story where everything keeps coming for his patch of wilderness.

This isn't your ordinary System Apocalypse story.
MC is a society dropout, and tries not to rely on people - yet somehow is convinced that the police and military are going to quickly solve the end of the world.
He is slow to take on the benefits of levelling up, but reluctantly does so so his ever increasing number of tamed pets can increase their survivability.
While not super-relateable, the MC is the 'straight man' to his pets, and it's those interactions that make the story fun.

Apocalypse Tamer is very much a fun story in the System genre. The MC's are endearing and full of jokes and puns as we've come to know from the author.
We find the usual topics Maxime's enjoy such as otherworldy gods and horrors as well as references to his other stories.
The Bohens going on a neighbourly crusade starts on a somewhat funny note of misplaced fences and "get of my lawn"'s but quicky becomes a race against time to save Earth from the dominion of the terrying Unity and Metal Olympus.
All in all a good time =)
