Going into this LitRPGs are not what I normally read but what I really liked about this particular story was the well balance of litRPG , character development, and descriptions. The story isnt dragged down with convoluted RPG stuff but really makes it work to the story's advantage by being a well written story with well thought out characters.
It was very easy to follow the action because of how well those scenes were written. There was a lot of interesting places that the characters got to visit. I really felt like I was taking this journey with Bran.
All of the characters seemed really relatable. They seemed like people you would meet in real life. Bran as a main character was great. He has flaws but still seems like a very likeable person and one that I would hang out with irl. I really appreciate that this story had a main character that was not a 'Mary Sue".
This story was very good at keeping me on the edge, wanting more and not knowing where the story would go because of the many wonderful surprises.
If you are a fan of post apocalyptic stories & the 90s then Apocalypse 2020 is for you.

    It's a near perfect.
The style is really good, nothing outstanding but pretty neat nonetheless.
Again, we got it after the 10 000th story about it, the apocalypse is popular but this particular story is wrapped in a really original way, I don't want to spoil anything by hinting though.
As far as I can tell, the grammar is actually flawless, nothing jumps to my mind thinking about possible blunder while reading it must mean it's either clean or really just enough above the standard set here that we can't complain at all.
And finally, the character construction was done perfectely, you know how each story is unique, this one gets a lot of already used tropes and puts it together giving interesting and deep characters.
Well, like always it's my point of view, I find this story interesting and it's a pleasure to read.

This story is refreshing. A unique and new take on the LitRPG genre, moving away from utopian hyper realistic full-body immersion systems, to good old video games.
What makes this special, and so enjoyable to read though, is the concept of "Immersion through imagination", as Toren put it. This connection to your character and to the game world that makes gaming so special is perfectly captured in this novel.
I also very much liked the characters, they all are well defined and their interaction with the world and others around them is consistent.
The grammar and spelling are near perfect, I have found less than 5 errors in all of the 400 pages currently released.
I sincerely hope you continue to write this for a while, and want to thank you for all your work.
    Cheers, drizz.

Enjoying it quite a bit so far.  The immersion of the game scenes is to the point where I feel like he has a full or deep immersion VR setup.  But every time it gets mentioned him loading up the game, putting on headphones, images/game on the monitor, etc, this gets shown not to be the case.
I find myself wishing this was more of a VR immersion game rather than the computer game with insane graphics.
Not sure what kind of a complaint it is though for the the game scenes to be too realistic or too good for a desktop game :)
