The young Dai Xi-Wang attracts a powerful strangers attention after a daring pickpocket but a spell placed upon the stolen coin shatters his mind into three personalities. Thus begins Xi-Wang's path to immortality as he learns to survive as three minds in one body within the Huan Dynasty.

The old Asura, Madelyn, perishes in the land of the Descended. She dug her way to the deepest pits of Hell and grasped upon power that few achieved. Yet she tired of slaughter and the pursuit of more. Like many others before her she died in the endless war of the lowest plane filled with the most depraved demonic cultivators. After death the Asura found that her soul possessed a child's giving her a second chance. This time she chose the path of Ascension hoping to fill an empty but hopeful void.

The lamenting Vasilios drinks away his sorrows at the loss of his divinity. The young scion had accepted his fate as a pathetic demi-god turned lowly mortal until a proclaimed Immortal Master awakened from within a fake pearl necklace gifted to him from his deceased mother. With the chance to regain his divinity and Godhood he must act quietly for his cousin, Dantes, will kill any and all competition in the quest for Ascension to the Family in the Heavens.

All three, as fate would decree, had set to motion a journey of survival, a search for a meaning of life, and a redemption of what was lost. However, which of the three it will be for each is left remained to be seen as their paths will cross and mix.
