Anna stumbles through a life that began later, yet skipped most of her childhood. She lives in a chapel but isn't truly an orphan. She has been paralyzed by the few choices she'scontemplatedregarding the direction her life should take. So, she has simply been following the flow. She remembers a life in scattered pieces—a life she never lived—yet it has blessed her with a cynical, rational view of the world that doesn't quite match her own nature. I'm really enjoying this story. Honestly I saw that title and I knew I had to give it an genuine try, so I never even read the description. I'm bad at reviews, I like to enjoy my reading not focus on what makes it good or bad, and when I do I hyper focus and explain poorly. But, I felt this small book deserves a little love and honesty.
The author probably doesn't speak English as a 1st or 2nd language, or if they do they never learned it in a school. Their grammer is bad. Every there is there. Their and they're don't exist. Same with maid or new (made and knew). You'll see this with more than a few words. If you can get past this, the main character is in a bad spot mentally. And its told in first person. Yet it is done well, the story telling does a wonderful job painting emotions onto you so you understand. It's quite easy to empathize, and I find this all the more amazing because it's poorly written. Like someone wrote in spanish and google translated it into english. The author gets better with each chapter and I'm really enjoying it. The characters take realistic actions and feel like people to me.
If nothing else, this Author made me feel deeply for fake characters in a fake setting and want to read more.
