Description

After a worldwide pandemic strikes his town, Desir Snow was forced to work from home in the safety of his one-room apartment. In the beginning, everything was good for the twenty-six-year-old computer programmer. A natural loner, Desir relished in the confined life. He no longer needed to socialise, his meddlesome friend was banned from visiting, and Desir could enjoy the things he loved the most.

However, when his beautiful next-door neighbour collapsed right in front of his door a week into the lockdowns, Desir’s life was flung into a direction that he could never have imagined.

I'm writing this novel with Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken as inspiration. So if you like that novel, I you'll probably like this one :)

This is my kind of wholesome fluff. Can't get much better than this. The only thing wrong with the story is that chapters are on the short side but it updates relatively frequently so I can't ask for more.
I guess the characters could be a lil' less caricature like and with a bit more depth but they're developed enough that the story just works (for me). Especially in more recent chapters where Althea shows some of her more human sides beyond the perfect beauty and innocent adorableness.

This was really fun to read. The only bad thing so far, there's not enough chapters!
The pace is nice and slow, and I don't think anything other than slow would work with this type of story. You can't just rush it, it would ruin the flow it has right now.
The characters feel mostly fleshed out so far. Althea's point of view chapter was really nice. You can see how she slowly changes her mind about the main character. Maybe another one about MC's best friend would be nice, because he seems kind of bland right now. We'll see what the future brings :)
I'm really interested in how they progress in their relationship, and how the other known characters react to the development. We could see Grace's reaction, and I can imagine most of us would react the same.
So far I maybe spotted 1 or 2 spelling errors, but that's about it!
    Keep up the good work!
The 200 word requirement for adv. review is killing me, I was already as wordy as I could be. What I wrote so far still hasn't been enough so I gotta write some more!
Comeee oooon RR I don't have time for this, I have stories to find and read, to fill my miserable work time...

    TLDR: Solid romance, go read
The story is, like the title says, enjoyable romance fluff, so don't expect anything out of the ordinary. The characters are fairly normal, so no dramatic back story, but still well written. The couple is cute and even the side characters aren't all that wooden. The writing is solid and flows harmonious. There aren't any big grammatical errors which my (admittedly non native speaker) eyes can find.

One of the most frustrating pieces I’ve tried to read in a while. This falls firmly into a category I’d call incel fiction. The main character has a completely unrealistic view on women/relationships and avoids them because he believes all of them will eventually break his heart, because they couldn’t possibly like him. Pathetic is the word that comes to mind.
He’s also just kind of an asshole. He does nice things out of a sense of obligation, not because it’s the right thing to do. He doesn’t even view people as people, instead referring to the love interest as wounded animal he’s helping.
He complains about everything, including his friends caring about him enough to check in during the holidays because they know he’ll be alone. I don’t think I’ve heard him say a single nice thing about any character that wasn’t related to their appearance. His positive traits are he can cook and he’s not fat anymore. As a person he’s miserable and honestly deserves to be alone. His actions when Althea starts to pursue him prove that. He doesn’t even care about her, he just wants to get rid of her.
the writing also isn’t strong enough to carry the story with these glaring faults. It reads like it was correctly translated without many edits. Why is everyone a Lass or lad? I half expect him to start saying m’lady.
I guess it’s to much to ask for a story like this where the guy isn’t a complete oblivious loser who doesn’t know how to have functioning relationship. Can’t they just be kind aware of the situation and respond to it accordingly?
Instead we get a story where the character repeatedly shows us that it’s his fault he miserable and gives us ample reasons why he deserves to stay that way instead of having such good friends waste their time on him.
