One found themselves before an entity that only recalled memories of eldritch gods, and found themselves changed into something else altogether. Circumstances forced the former friends into opposing sides, each finding out more from their own side of the story.

---------------------------------------

Expect:

-A deconstructed Isekai story told from different angles and views

-Tragedies, and dark Comedy/gallows humor.

-Occasional action

Do not expect:

-Much in terms of romance

-Much politics, barring passing views and mentions

-A lighthearted tale. This story will not play nice.

Any comments, reviews, and criticism will be much appreciated.

And thank you for reading.

I have to begin by saying: there was an amazing twist in chapter three and four that caught me off guard in all the right ways. I loved it.
I’m a huge fan of multiple PoVs, and this was a great use of it with a LitRPG Isekai. But in case you’re worried, the PoVs meet up very soon after they’re introduced, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of two storylines (or potentially, one that you aren’t too invested in, or aren’t invested in yet.)
But that brings me to my next point. The characters are all well thought out and given enough unique traits to make them instantly stick in your mind—then, once you’re hooked, they get filled in and developed very nicely. You can’t help but like them, even with the flaws that they are given.
The system is interesting enough. It doesn’t stand out a ton, but it doesn’t need to. What makes it interesting (and something I haven’t seen much in other LitRPGs) is the use of errors and corruption in character stat sheets. It adds an element of intrigue to the characters’ abilities.
There aren’t many glaring grammatical errors, and the writing is mostly very clean. Any issues are minor, but they’re to be expected from this format and don’t impact the readability.
All in all, if you’re looking for a fun read, I highly recommend giving this story a chance!

    Style:
I do not grade style. However, I have noticed the way it is done, that it gives off I think the feeling is of a higher authority. Can be somewhat ominous.
    Grammar:
Seems fine to me, then again, I wasn't focusing much on this. It checks out basically at least.
    Story:
This story transitions well, paying attention to the smaller details. Similarly to the author's other works, this is what is still apparent to me now. It starts off slow, which is okay. How a character's life was, and how they got into games. Which eventually led them into another world. I will note though, that the reaction to well...being Isekai, it is likely not excitement. Still, that is besides the point. From the point I had read, it gave of a Slice of Life feel. At the same time, flowing into its core.
This then gets into gods, chosen ones and all that good stuff. For a LitRPG, it is a safe one. Which is the author's first one, and I'll say it does fine. You got the stats, skills, level of skills, etc.
    Characters:
The characters, typically comes across as normal peeps. Which is fine, aside from a few noticeable things. I would say overall it is established well. The relationship between two old friends, was good. As it showed how they got into a similar mindset. One reads a bunch of light novel and games. Excitable you can call em, the other I suppose is into games.
    Overall:
It is a good story, does well around the corner. If there is one thing I noticed, is that. It doesn't really go anywhere just yet. However, from the hints given out, I can see a much larger story. With that being said, head on in and try it for yourself.

5/5 easy. The plot synopsis and beginning chapter really bambozled me. I'm digging the character evolutions, even if I still think Beast of Envy was lowkey the best one going by abilities. I'll be keep track of this now and then to binge watch.
Ignore the haters that leave a 0.5 stars. They will find a fault in anything.

The author has unfortunately passed. A very nice guy and swell author who encouraged a bunch of peeps to publish and write. Always happy to show his book covers which I never really cared for the art but he was always excited about them.
    From Riverfolk Publishing:
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved author, Avitue. Over the last few months, we have exhausted every option to find him, and unfortunately, we discovered that Avitue has passed.
Avitue was a building block of Riverfolk Books. He was a man who wrote for thousands of his fans. More importantly, he wrote the stories he wanted to, caring more about telling the stories that spoke to him rather than what was most popular, something we as a company align with.
Avitue had suffered from physical and mental health issues and never shied from sharing that with his readers. He lived life on his own terms, writing books that might have landed him in jail in his home country.  He wrote bravely, with no regrets, and with passion for each of his tales.

We don't have any definitive dates unfortunately, but based on our source, Avi passed in the middle of August.
    Avitue lived in Bali, Indonesia.
We have yet to find a next of kin for him. If anyone has any information (or media inquiries) that they would like to share please reach out to [email protected]
Also, don't hesitate to ping/DM me or another employee of Riverfolk books. ❤️

Its a nice story all in all. I like that you changed the system of allocating statpoints, even if its not a huge change, that there is more than one class (because if you have only one, even if it has limitless abileties/skills or can evolve, it feels like with more classes they can just be synced together better). I`ve also read two of your other storys and generally like your writing. And i would personally just give Esperanze a lot more Chapters but thats only my own preferenc and i know that thats not really possible for balances sake and probably also not what your going for. So in conclusion,
    Great story, i like it

The story is cool. The core story isn't really unique but the way the author started things, the writing style and the details are a breath of fresh air. Although it would be nice once in a while to get to see things from the point of view of the other heroes. I also hope that the development of the story and the release schedule keep up with expectations.

This is a good story. It's style is great, grammar is on point (except one or two mistakes in the entire story; but who's counting) and story is almost perfect.
As much as I'd love to give the character score a perfect rating I just can't do that, particularly because of Esperanza.
Don't get me wrong I don't hate her and- although Alissa appeals to me more- I prefer her chapters. My problem with her is that her thoughts are all over the place.
When she is first introduced she expresses her desire to fade into oblivion, saying she's tired of life and just wants to bleep out of existence. Yet, she immediately accepts the chance at a second life from unknown gods. Throughout all her POVs her internal monologues jump between I'll trust Oldies and I'll watch a bit longer to see if Oldies can be trusted. I know it's implied she's got a few screws loose, but MAKE A DAMN CHOICE ALREADY!
Also, in her first meeting with Oldies she was way too casual for someone who grew up in a christian family. Even if she's a nonbeliever, because of her upbringing one would think she would be a bit more respectful considering she is in the company of literal GODs, no matter how nice Oldies is.
Also, I'd love to see more from Joshua (ANYTHING. Whether it's good or bad it matters not) besides Look at me, I'm the literal poster kid for white privilege! Though we'll probably see that soon enough, I hope.
Again, I don't hate Esperanza. She's my second favourite character in the story, which isn't saying much but its true nontheless.
Well, that's all for my review. Since I've reached the end of the current chapters I'll lay off for a few weeks before picking up it up again.

Anyone familar with Avitue knows their Einsamwelt Saga novels, all based in the same world. Set over the course of centuries with a couple reoccuring characters between the novels. The author cut their teeth on these stories, and has improved both their grammer and story presentation as time has gone on.
And (N)one Shall Remain is Avitue's newest story placed in an entirely new world with a new system and new characters, how does it measure up to their previous novels? Quite well, in fact. Though following classic tropes at first, it rapidly deconstructs them in a dual narative. The two main characters bring two different viewpoints to the same story. Viewpoints that don't match up.
This is the meat of the story. You have two unreliable viewpoints of the same world. Who is correct? Is anyone correct? Are whatever higher powers that bring our characters to this world really on their side, or are they using them for their own selfish purposes? Is the truth somewhere in the middle, or completely different? The mystery this brings to the story is the hook that brings a reader in.
Like all of Avitue's stories, this one is lighter on action and heavier on worldbuilding/character development. When the action does happen however, no punches are pulled. Don't ignore the content warnings!
Overall, I consider this to be Avitue's best story yet. It's criminally underrated and in my opinion is better than some more popular stories on RR. This story is absolutely worth your time to try out.
    P.S. - I'm totally on team Esperazana.

    Reviewed at Chaper 16-Hands-on Violence
Four heroes summoned from Earth to fight an unnamed enemy, three of whom are exactly as summoned. The fourth, however was dying when summoned, and the summons was iterrupted by Elder Gods. She is given a different story of the reason for the summons, and is changed into a lovecraftian horror because her dead body can't cross the dimensions.
Needless to say the summoned Heros now start with a smaller party than intended. They are trained, equipped, and at this point are being power-levelled to get ready for their quest. The fourth member, after being killed at the summoning circle as an abomination, is left  to train herself. (All of the summoned Heroes have unlimited resurrections as a boon from the Gods) The overarching question this novel starts out with: which set of Gods is telling the truth about this world? Stay tuned, same station, as the world and the Heroes are introduced to each other, and the truth? shall be revealed!
If you are bothered by multiple points of view, this story isn't for you. However, so far it looks like there is only two main viewpoints, that of the three main heroes, and that of the fourth. This style couldn't work without that split, and I believe it is a good style for this story.
It's hard to get a good reading on the characterization of the story this early, but a little is revealed about each of them from the point of the main Hero, who is the only one to have that title. I trust Avitue, because I follow his other stories and believe that the characters are being developed well, without cutting off the action of the story.
The grammar is very good, nothing to jar my reading experience out of the immersion in the story.

This reminded me of kumo desu ga nani ka, switching povs is also well done if only a little off putting considering there were some parts that I personally thought should've been included before the changing of pov. After all, changing povs without finishing a particular scene would result on readers getting frustrated or having to check past chapters again when the scene is eventually continued, breaking the immersion.
Grammar has no problems as far as I've noticed, though I'm not particularly picky about it.
There were also 'small holes' within the story. One of which is the experience acquisition, Esperanza spent 1month within the forest with little to no progress. Before anyone disagrees, yes, the author did provide adequate explanation such as her being weak at that time with limited prey, however, respawn is such an abusable cheat (remember how she used it on the bear?) that progressing only to lvl19 within a month (not even started from lvl1) seems pretty unlikely. In comparison, the other hero dungeon delved and closed the gap almost immediately despite there being many of them (should have lessened their exp acquisition).
Now there is no clear set of exp acquisition but you may reason that power leveling is real in that world. However, the point of them moving together should've lessened exp acquisition.
Last one is more on personal level standards. Author seems bent on making esperanza a utility/support class with good combat capabilities. I fail to see how that would work out without the author twisting things out like maybe having situations which coincidentally needed a soulmaster-ish individual to 'fight' the false gods. However, as a reader, I always see things in a 'what if' scenario and compare it to how I would've done it instead of how to make the story interesting and unique, so maybe it's because of the difference in perspective. Anyways, simply put, I would've focused on shoring up personal combat capabilities if I were to ask to wrestle shiz a
