Description

The thirty-year war against the two world superpowers had ended.

The Dragon Mountain continent had won. After sacrificing so much for the continent, winning the war for his people, The Leader who United the Continent, An Shan, had to go into deep sleep.

In a blink of his eyes, times had gone by.

Finally waking up in the world he left for many years, An Shan began his new life with new people, new culture, new things to see. With the population booming, there were ten times more people than he could remember, yet also with ten times more problems. He slowly unraveled the problems gripping his new generations, thus decided to go out, fixing them without the two superpowers knowing.

Slowly.

It was supposed to be a walk in a park for this super senior, albeit with one little problem.

The old man’s sleepy.

Damn sleepy.

Ah, this tranquility… so peaceful.

Huhu… what a bliss…

Wish this could last forever… Ahh~~

...

“…Ancestor, wake up!!!”

'My ears!'

A new take on the xianxia, the characters are adorable. The ancestor is reliable and actually is looking to do the right thing in sorting everything out. I can see huge potential for this to go on a long time and look forward to all of what may come with this novel.

I wasn't planning to leave a review so soon, as I figured it was too early, but this definitely needs a boost.
This story is GREAT and refreshing, especially for people like me that read a lot of Chinese Webnovel Xianxia/Xuanhuan. It's a bit slow right now, but it's not boring at all. It's just... Refreshing and fun. Grammar has been excellent, and everything flows very well. Clean.
As the MC is incredibly powerful and exalted, he founded his own sect. As with the usual Xianxia stuff, he's very old because his cultivation is so high. But, unlike the usual Xianxia ancestor personalities, he's pretty liberal and interesting. As in, very broad minded and thinks like a TRUE leader should. He's like a mix between a veteran king, a good grandpa, and Master Roshi. So, interesting :D.
There really isn't much to say about side characters atm, as this is still too new, but the few that have had a decent amount of dialogue have been incredible, especially this certain little girl and her father.
This is also surprisingly funny. Though, I feel that only people who've read actual Chinese Xianxia will laugh a lot, like me, at several of these trope breaking shenanigans.
If you love Xianxia, DEFINITELY check this out. If you don't... DEFINITELY check this out, as it would be a shame to skip something so good. I'll update when more chapters are released... But, I have a feeling it'll still be VERY positive.

    Spoiler: Spoiler
This is a lot better than what I expected. It isn't made completely clear from the synopsis, but the empire unified only this one continent not the whole world. There are enemies and the MC is not all powerful, especially with his still not fully healed injuries.
The MC does not go around brute forcing things, rather he has to be clever about how he does things.
There is humor and it is quite funny I think. But it is not just humor all the time and nothing else, there is actually plot.
    I highly recommend this story

I have to say I really enjoyed the story so far.   The characters are well written and interesting while also being very three dimensional.     The story is interesting and while the pacing is a bit slow I actually found it very exciting.
That said there are a few faults I have with the story.   First is while I see the system has been well thought out in the author's mind it can be unclear to the reader.  There were points as I was reading where I found I better understood the significance of events that happened much earlier because the difference between a soul titan and titan stars was explained.
It is unclear on the power levels and rankings.  There have been small blurbs about it, but they lack a clear power progression.  There is not really ever a part where the power difference between cultivation levels is explained.   Part of this is because the main character already started out as a peak cultivator.  This means we don't get to see the growth of the stages and the power that comes with it.
I definitely enjoy the MC and his outlook much better than many other cultivation based stories.  He is forceful while also being approachable.   Many authors have trouble with this and either make them too forceful where they act like tyrants and are hard to like or they are too soft to correct mistakes and seem a pushover.

Before I got to the child sex trafficking bit, I would have said it was decent, with an interesting premise. Well, the premise itself is still interesting ig, but not really worth the blatant transphobia. If you still choose to read it after seeing this review, don't be shocked when that scene pops up.
