- AWittyRetortRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have only read 10 chapters but so far it seems to be a pretty interesting start. The protagonist is basically a childlike monster that seemed to just appear from nowhere. It is pretty smart but is naive due to just being born. I like reading on how it grows and learns lessons like how standing still may be useful against some animals and not others. I also like its power system, it seems to be some type of power system where you deal with monsters to gain abilities, like chainsaw man. So far it has shown interesting abilities, like the protagonist's ability to conjure illusions. The setting and world is also great, the wilderness does truly feel like an alien place with the creatures shown. And how the child deals with them displays both its intellect and its unique character philosophy. I think that with its new arc leaving the wilderness and heading to society it has a lot of potential to grow. The grammar and flow of how the story is written is also well done. It made sure it kept my interest even in the smallest scenes. Overall a well rounded package that I think delivers everything it needs to in a the time given.
