An Ode to Experience

One of the beauties of short stories is their ability to do what long winded and expansive fictions cannot do.

"Less is more..." ;a rule that is hardly universal in the world of fiction. Yet, when filtered through the sieve of truth, a few grains will remain at the bottom- if there is a correctness in this statement, then surely the medium of short stories would be where to express it.

'An Ode to Experience' is a series of descriptions in the lives of varied people and things, with no more than one paragraph per chapter. Unlike the intricately carved hard worldbuilding of Tolkien and Herbert, these single paragraphs challenge you to form your own story, letting the expanse of your imagination sway the hand that pieces the jigsaw of human experience.
