An Incarnator's Path to Ascension

Description

After suddenly dying, Ashlyn Davis is given the option of retaining her memories between lives. Very few are given the choice, and all who accept are warned that their path to ascension will be judged more harshly as result.

After accepting the offer, she finds herself reborn into a medieval world of magic where a system controls progression and classes are based on existing skills. With each new life, Ashlyn will learn just how different the worlds and systems of progression really are.

Note: My goal is to create different types of worlds in the various lives (Medieval, modern, futuristic, steampunk), with some leaning heavily towards LitRPG and others being more mundane or involving Wuxia-style cultivation.

This is a preliminary review only and I normally wouldn't write one this early, but I find North Wind's comment to be unkind at best.  The first new life is in a [System] world and starts with a relatively slow burn ... which is normal when dealing with a baby/infant phase.  I might even characterize the speed as slice-of-life, but I am good with that.  I look forward to seeing where this life goes ... and potential future lives as well.

As my title says, the author doesn't explain things. When the MC is being reincarnated and is being born again, it doesn't tell the reader that she is being born, she just comments her thoughts on being born.
We aren't told she has siblings, it is just brought up randomly that she lives with her parents and siblings, without describing any of them. 2 chapters in, we have met the parents and her oldest brother, and we don't know anything about any of them other than that he is 8.
There is a palpable lack of emotion in this story and it just isn't interesting.
