An angel, one of the two nigh immortal species in existence, has been hunted and killed by his own kind because he wasn’t prepared to watch silently while his people followed their own desires to whatever end.When, against all odds, he opened his eyes again he was someone else, his past and powers hidden deep within him.On an ancient world with advanced magic but medieval technology he was reborn as Cassandra Pendragon, the youngest daughter of one of the five royal families on Boseiju, the home of the fox tribe, the kitsune.As she grew up who she was and who she had been started shaping her future. Forgotten friends and unknown enemies began knocking on her door and while she struggled to find her way between the past and the present the winds of war were already blowing across her home.

A small add on: the first two chapters are a kind of prologue, I’ve marked them as such as well. The writing style, as well as the perspective, changes dramatically afterwards. If you want to you can skip them without missing too much. I wouldn’t recommend it, though.

I originally started this book because the title intrigued me, I thought it would be a “angel falls from grace and goes to join the demons” but it isn’t that, I won’t spoil anything but it is so much more. The world building is beautiful, all the important main characters we have met have their own backstory, own ideas, personality. Pretty much perfect. The fight scenes are awesome and I love the main character. Now I will say one thing, if you don’t like girls love books, tough luck, it’s a thing in this book and the author writes it perfectly. If you haven’t already started it, I was hooked by the end of the prologue, so read it and see if you enjoy, you won’t regret it.

Okay, there is so much to unpack here… let me start off by saying you will be a tad bit confused, a lot angry and you will also most definitely laugh and you will most likely feel sad and be reminded of things if you read this series… but one thing I can definitely promise is you’ll be blessed with such an amazing story. Cassandra is quite the main character indeed. She is funny, impulsive, brave, hardheaded and diligent… she’s always very loyal and true to her friends and those she considers family. She will take on others burdens and place them on her shoulders at time without much of a second thought… that can be stressful and get the reader smacking their head sometimes but Silmaril has created such a vast world of superior storytelling that sometimes I just get lost in the pages of the story. It’s very gripping and gritty sometimes… there have been times of learning, (technically the learning for Cassy is unending all things considered) and there has been so much time of strife, pain, evilness and treachery.. betrayal and redemption are also a huge part of this series. The side characters are superb. Also be warned that don’t get use to some people because in a few chapters they might not be around. Fair warning there may be some triggers for people but to them I say toughen up. This story is so good I find myself binging chapter after chapter. Know what else is great? Even at the beginning and almost every time the creator Silmaril will respond to comments. I cannot express how refreshing it is to be able to bounce ideas and voice concerns and opinions off the author and to have them respond and be honest and sometimes conversations bust out. Also chatting with him has become a huge pleasure because I look forward to his witty responses. Sometimes when he responds it makes me think and look at chapters differently. It’s wonderful to share that type of relationship author to reader. I’m only about 102 chapters in and I wanted to really wait until I got a solid

I am Not really qualified to write Reviews, but to write my personal opinion i can.
That Story has beautiful Charakters, a perfekt writing and a very Long and boring start. I eaven dropped that Novel once within the First 10-20 chapters, cant tell you which chapter without spoilers. At start there were also to much pov Changes for me, but after that Long and complex start, everything Changes fast. So much Action so much Emotions, so much death... so much Story twists. This Novel let your Emotions run wild and also shows you that Charakters you take a liking to, are not sure to survive that Hell. Prepare for sleepless nights If you get over the First view chapters. You will know when the story really Starts!

This is a pretty solid story, maybe not the best one around but definately worth a read, little to no grammar mistakes, I've only seen one thus far, solid worldbuilding and interesting plotline, characters feel a little bit shallow, may be because there is not a ton of dialogue, but characters definately still have some character, and that is not always the case on RR. My one complaint would be in the field of the perspective changes, they can often be a little bit confusing, but in general, I found this to be very enjoyable thus far, and deserved atleast a review.
The other thing I have noticed, which seems to be quite common is that the intense scenes could use a little bit more tension but that might just be me, I think the action could become alot more exiting if it were more intense, that being said, I have no idea how one would do that so take that with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, Read a bit into the story, before dropping cuz although the backstory is a little confusing, the story is quite enjoyable as a whole.
I think that the only reason this stroy hasn't been read much is because 1. it's got no picture and 2. nobody's noticed, thats most likely because its new and Those will prob both have changed soon anyways.
No reason not to give this story a try!
