One day in 2019, the United States of America finds itself transported to a new world.

What will happen if a modern superpower from Earth finds itself in a world with magic and technology ranging from the medieval era to World War 1? F-22 Raptors vs wyverns and biplanes. Arleigh Burke-class destroyers vs wooden ships, mage ships, and dreadnaughts. M4 carbines vs bow n’ arrows, staffs, and bolt-action rifles. Featuring aggressive expansionist empires and magical kingdoms, what will the United States do?

I will do weekly updates every Sunday of chapters with about 1000-2000 words each.

This is the first novel I have ever written and is meant to be a draft. The official one will come out sometime after I finish this.

The story is a hoshposh of portal fantasy/ swords and magic combined with modern America. There is a lot of class of different power levels. From medieval, up two ww2 magic powered like weapons. Love the ww2 fighting of the elves vs. The United States. Give a read if your into war history along with fantasy.

If you've read 1632 by Eric Flint and see some parrallels you're not too far off.
I loved the 1632 series. The idea of plopping a 21st Century Town into the wars of 1632 Europe and then having the tech and society of 21st impact and cause butterfly effects around the world was and is still a great read.
However...The idea of moving a WHOLE nation...now that's a different beast all together.
I'm gonna give the writer 5 stars because they're attempting to write something I've thought about, but didn't do because I was paralyzed by the humongous complexity of impacting a less advanced world by the introduction of a SUPREMELY complex country like the US of A.
So if you want to give this a read, and are intrigued by the similarity between it and 1632 of Eric Flint...you should. It will at least show you the coolness and yet not so cool ways of mixing a modern country and a supremely low tech society.

Read the whole thing and made an account just so I can give a review. Overall, this story is an enjoyable and good read. Some of the grammar and wording could use some minor improvements to make some sentences and scenes less awkward to read. Definitely reccomend to other readers who are interested in this type of genre. Would like to know more about civilian life in the US as things in the story progress, as well as in other countries of interest. Definitely liked the portion of the story where life in the Machian Empire for it's citizens has changed due to the war, and would definitely wish to see much more of that in the future.

It is a very good story. However, it is a bit lacking in terms of world-building and character development but it is only a minor issue. The bigger issue is that grammar errors and inconsistency in some parts of the chapters. Overall, all you have to do is edit and recheck the chapter a little bit more and this series will be perfect. From one enthusiastic writer to another, keep it up, Ron!

I believe this is one of the best story that have Same genre as 'Nihonkaku shoukan/Summoning japan' because the story is had a multi views neither from US or the elven and imperial country, and it has a detailed warfare situation that happen beetwen human and elves, the con was the story doesn't care much about economies and social change that happened because of the teleport and the story lack of unique character that make the story is quite lacking to me, but in overall this is a good story.

Its good written for author's first work. I have thought first it will be bad, because start was worse than mediocre, but after 30th or so chapter it gets better. Author has thoroughlty resereached military, so its not some crap. If you have read Nihonkoku Shoukan, then you will like it and if you missed in Nihonkoku Shoukan POVs of civilians of countries that Japan influenced, then here is much more POVs of them

America doesn't establish democracies in the occupied countries and instead chooses puppet kings.
In reality they made Japan a democracy with a psuedo king/emperor.
Awful. The novel has ruined my day and I feel cheated.
This is not what would happen IRL. They would establish democracies in occupied areas.
America fights wars and proxy wars in the name of establishing democracies and anti-authoritarianism. There is no way the populus and media will be okay with appoining puppet rulers.
I wish I could give it negative -5 stars. Was hoping for French reolution style justice for the people and got cold hard authoritarianism and the worst part is this is opposite to what would happen in reality. In fiction it's usually fun vs reality. All I see here is no fun and no reality. Only cold hard authoritarianism.

I was bored so I gave this novel a try.
I'm not american and not sensible to nationalist point of view so it was a really tentative try.
But the point of view and location keep switching. It's hard to engage to the story. It's hard to understand. It's straining the eye for the author keep changing colors for every foreign language.
As the description promised, the story is heavy on military stuff. The whole point of the story is to make fight the US against fantasy world armies. And I suppose, at some point the US would roll over the new world and become the world greatest nation once again just because...
To put some context and comparison:
It remind me of Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There!
Only it's less fun, a whole lot messier, extremely hard to read. You got it.
Style is abyssmally bad, like, whoever wrote this never bother reading an actual novel before giving it a try.
The story would have potential if it wasn't so hard to follow and to engage with it.
I don't know how to give it a character score. What character are we speaking about? There is so many point of view that there is basically no main character only a few reccurent ones and basically, an army of forgettable point of view, most of them bringing so little to the table that they are not worth remembering.
In the end if you are a proud american nationalist, if you don't mind the style and if don't mind the lack of a main point of view, you might enjoy reading this. (That a lot of "if")
But really... why this story is even in the trending?
