After a near miss with a fox. brother and sister come across a circle of trees in the woods. built into one of the trees is a door leading to a room. entering the room following a loud bang, Lex is struck by a meteor. what follows is a sci fi fantasy journey as Lex discovers the AI and system. An alien world, fantasy races and evil cyborg orces on a galaxy wide destruction spree.

There's a lot of good in here, and some not so good. This fiction as it is now will not be for everyone, but I feel as though it shouldn't be overlooked. I enjoy the concept. It's a cool and fun story. Essentially magic fox and manmachine in a LitRPG. There is definitely a lot of potential to this story.
The setting has the promise to be something great and I love the mix of a bit of magic with the scifi aspects of tech.
The biggest detractor for the pacing and progression of the story. There is a lot of dialogue and new concepts and events happen that seem to have little context. Things are introduced in a way that comes off as rushed, haphazard, and sloppy. Not to say that what's being introduced or how the story unfolds is bad. I just personally would like to see more details. Slow down and see how things play out more naturally.
There's definitely room to grow. But I think the idea is unique and worthy of support.
The characters each have a lot of personality, but with how quickly things get pushed forward it can be difficult to take in the scope of their relationships.
All in all though the story has a lot of promise and is still fun enough to follow along.
I am defintely eager to see where the author takes this story.
