All the Cheats [Cultivation Comedy]

Description
All protagonists get a cheat. What if yours is stealing theirs when you kill them?
After transmigrating, Joseph had planned to live a relaxed life as a cultivator, getting married and enjoying immortality. After all, with his trope knowledge he should be able to evade all major conflicts and ascend the cultivation realms in peace.
But then he gets killed days after his transmigration, only to take over the body of his killer, who apparently has the ability to steal cheats of every main-character looking person he kills. Sucks when the latest cheat is a full conciousness with meta trope knowledge that kicks him from his own body.
Now Joseph is stuck in a new body without memories, trying to not be discovered and killed for demonic posession, his only advantages being a floating ghost head of an ancient genocidal cultivator stuck on revenge and his inherited ability to steal the cheat of anyone with main character energy.

- The OxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0All the Cheats is an extremely well executed comedy Xianxia, hats off to Qwaj for such a promising new story. Currently it has been put on hiatus due to a family emergency but let us hope that the tale will continue soon, as it has a lot going for it.
As a western (I assume) author's take on a Xianxia story, All the Cheats is leaning heavily into trope-subversion as a comedic element. This is a good and fruitful source of material for having a few laughs as one of the easiest things to make fun of in Xianxia is how melodramatically arrogant or delusional the characters can be. Often Xianxia novel characters are less believable human beings and more psychopathically self-interested murder-robots with delusions of grandeur.
The power progression in Xianxia can be incredibly tedious too, sitting around meditating moving qi through your meridians for decades or some nonsense, or chopping up body parts of monsters and spirit fruits to make alchemy pills in an endlessly repetitive process intended to pad out the word count in Chinese Paid-by-the-word web fictions.
So it is refreshing that Joseph/Jing Bao our MC in All the Cheats is right off the bat unable to sit still long enough to "sense the Qi". Meditation has to be the most boring aspect of Xianxia novels, so its great if Qwaj can find a reason to work around it at the get go.
Side characters are so far not well fleshed out, but characters like the Sect master and Joseph/Jing Bao's uncle are delightful parodies of typical Xianxia NPCs.
The story is very new, and we aren't far into it, but the plot and action scenes so far have been both delightfully funny and well described and flowing. Qwaj is a talented writer from what I can see, and the work we've gotten so far is fabulously well written and demonstrates a lot of talent. I hope this story doesn't end here due to Qwaj's personal difficulties. Best wishes and hope for a speedy return to writing.
