Alcohol Witch

Volume 1 (Ch1-20): Janick, an air superiority witch born to a family of peasants, is tired of her life as a countryside cook but her family is not wealthy enough to support the adventurous lifestyle she wishes to live. At the same time, spurred by an encounter she makes while working the family inn, she feels like she can use her prowess with alcohol magic to make a name for herself.

Volume 2 (Ch21-): The world has radically transformed since Janick's death, and, decades later, alcohol magic is now the main source of the world's alcohol. Gauwilh, an elf couch potato, is lured to Gatwick, that world's show-business hub, under the promises of artistic power, by a flagging TV network. But when these promises are broken, he must navigate a show-business world where artistic vision counts for almost nothing.
