AK - The Alchemy Kingdom [Kingdom Building, Magic Crafting, and Epic Fantasy]
Community Rating
Description
In a world where magic defines power, status, and survival, kingdoms are not built by Mages alone, but by the oppressive systems that sustain them.
In the small village of Caiset, far from the centers of power, an ancient path returns to the world. What begins as a spark soon grows into something far greater: new tools, new knowledge, and new ways to build, defend, heal, harvest, and survive.
As alchemy spreads, so does ambition.
A forgotten village begins to change. People who were meant to remain chained begin building something of their own. Walls rise. Power shifts. Enemies gather. What was once a quiet struggle for survival slowly becomes the foundation of a new kingdom.
This is a long progression fantasy focused on kingdom building, magical development, conflict, and the steady rise of a society transformed by alchemy.
WARNING:The alchemy in this story is primarily focused on magical crafting, enchantment, runic creation, and the making of magical tools and systems, rather than chemistry-based alchemy.

- FabelleronRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Read in one breath in half a day. And this is pure delight. The first rule of this piece is not to pronounce "enchantment." The second rule is seriously, no enchantment. And it's very strange, confusing all the time and contradicts your logic, but....Well, this is an author's whim and we can only respect it. But seriously, if you persist in calling it alchemy, then there is absolutely no way it can be...Okay. excuse me. As for the story itself, it's just that everything is fine. The author's style is good, the emphasis is not on the hero himself, but on the history of the village, interesting minor characters, an interesting world and a system of "orthodox" magic. Even the pace of the story's narration is well chosen, not too slow, which is what many stories in this genre suffer from, but also not very fast. A completely unexpected piece in my favorite genre, which earned a well-deserved 8/10. Of the disadvantages, I can only single out 2 points. 1. Arguing for an assistant as an AI is a terrible idea. Not as a concept, but as a description, it could be a magically structured archive, a guardian spirit, or anything authentic. But AI sounds completely foreign and inappropriate. 2. And for the same reason, the beginning of the first chapter looks strange and needs editing.
- Rovena NoreikaiteRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am really enjoying this story , the progress feels well thought out and the system of "Alchemy" is more similiar to formations in other novels ive read but is clear and well explained .
My Favourite part of the novel is the scrolls with the arrays drawn out as I can see what the array or rune would look like .
The story has multiple povs and I cant wait for them to intertwine and I am super excited to watch this small village grow into a kingdom .
The Magic of the rest of the world is based on the elements and while I was expecting it to be very basic it has a deeper and more scientific feel to it as we run into different style of magicians that give a more diverse feel beyond the 4 elements.
The main character starts off as a 17 year old teenager and while his actions are not childish he does read and make decisions apropriate for his age . As a woman I find that the girls and women in the novel are well written and not just inserts in the story which can be a bit hard to find so I really do apreciate it . Will be joining the patreon in a week or so after payday :D
Keep it up author. - God Of KnowledgeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Pre rewrite this novel was a little unpolished and got progressivly more disorganized, the rewrite should fix this.
Pros-
Interesting progression
Mc isnt alone
Dynamic worldbuilding
Progressive characters.
Cons.
Grimdark, extremely
Complex magic system not for the weak
Uneven pace, fast at times and slow at others. Though it is a rewrite, take this as a grain of salt.
Overall, its a good novel with a lot of potential if the arcs are consistently planned and managed will make a great novel.
8.7/10 - Coronad21Royal Road★★★★ 3.5I understand this was tagged as multiple lead characters but got damn could I care less about lew, I was hoping it would only focus on those around Karl but it seems like every other page I'm reading somones elses POV. Besides that the book is great, I like how the learning is portrayed a lot.
- cromsterRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Ok so story I do like. I think karls character could be built better same as a few characters depth missing. Maybe a focus on the bad guys so we know who the enemy is and the plans etc as I feel that them leaving is to vague. A few plots hinted but not elabrated. My biggest bug bare is title is alchemy but karl not a alchemist not sure if hes a rune crafter array Master or or a artifcer (this more likly) but very week in description could do so much more. Routing for the book but like a bit more depth.
