Description
Agnis, Gregory, Raishin, and Ted are just young kids when everything gets taken from them. Their hometown gets attacked by a strange monkey and his associates. They got taken from Hourai, their home and get cast down into the 'Human world'.
They get brought to a quiet town that isn't what it seems. Strange monsters, a barrier protecting the town, and a large pink broccoli tree indicate that something bizarre is happening. The 4 try to escape their situation and return home but this town throws anything at them to prevent this from happening. Boshi town is just a normal place right? Why is it so hard to escape from this quiet town? Will their mythical ancestry help them escape or is it more of a hindrance in the 'Human world'.
This is my first work of fiction, it is a slow burn and I'm doing my best to keep it as interesting as possible. My thought processes might be weird and this could reflect in my writing. (I don't even know how I came up with the idea of a pink broccoli tree. There are other things but then I'll be spoiling the story) But I hope this at least keeps the story interesting.

- Softijs_Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Wow! Simply amazing! Seeing as this is your first story, your creativity is off the chart. I am your number one fan so please keep on writing. I really like the character depth and consistency in their conversation as well as your consistency in posting regular updates not to leave us Chireidensens hanging. I am still searching for a better fanbase name, so please comment if you have one! Keep up the hard work.
- Rhea ZuluRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A good premise.
The premise of the story is good, and if the writer can just consistently develop it well, then this story has the potential to be great.
Story:
The story follows Agni and his friends as they are uprooted from their home, and sent to the human world. Their world disappears into nothingness and they have to learn to make do with their new lives where they are constantly not treated well. Still, they make do with what they have, and make a life for themselves in this world.
Characters:
This is the strongest point of the story. There are four main characters, and we get each of their points of view, allowing us as readers to connect with them. Ultimately, it does focus a bit more on Agni, who is strong, passionate and cares about his friends. He obviously wants a life far better than the one that they are living now, and he does his best to get through tough situations and grow.
Style:
The writing style of this story is unique, and it takes some getting used to, to be able to read it without getting confused. The author does their best to make the reading experience easier, constantly putting reminders in the notes, so that readers know the characters’ colour codes, to reduce confusion.
Grammar:
The writing has a good, coherent flow to it, sometimes the sentence structure may be a little unpolished, but it is easy to follow the story. - The Reality Next DoorRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I have seen the author revise many mistakes, break up the paragraphs and make the book much clearer to read. Despite all of this, it can still be hard to follow. Once you do get how the book works, it is a good read.
Style: There are colors for each of the four-main protagonists, and I am glad the author freshened up the text to make it more clear who is talking, but it can still be hard to catch on. Once you do, however, this book will be a fun book to read.
Grammar: The author did his best to make the grammar as good as possible, there are barely any mistakes at all, the small ones can be hand waved.
Story: This is a slow burning story, but I rather like that, and I still have a lot to read. If you do not enjoy stories that evolve very slowly, then you might need to skip this one.
Characters: The characters seem well-developed, and as they grow, you will start to like them more and more.
All in all, while it might be hard to understand how to read this book, once you do, it is a fun read with a lot of lore and character development!
