Description

This is the firstWell of Soulsstory.

Nathan Hunter, as well as five hundred other seniors at his high school, found themselves pulled into the deadly game in an alternate dimension of their school, where they had to survive against increasingly tough monsters while completing a series of Challenges as their numbers continued to dwindle with no end in sight. With no way off the property, nor any way out of the alternate and back to their real dimension, Nathan and his classmates battle for survival in the hopes that eventually, they will be freed from the game.

Warning: Things will get repetitive at times, particularly after Arc 1. The reason for this becomes clear in the first couple of chapters of Arc 2. It is simply the nature of the lives they lead.

I really like this story. The characters are kind of extreme personalities, but they're described well for all that.

Really enjoying this story.  The MC is not going to be liked by everyone because of his brash behavior and comments but I find his view point funny and enjoy his blunt no nonsense approach to life.  I know a lot of people will also have issues with some of the characters but the author does a great job in bringing the characters to life and providing characters that everyone can relate to.
Story structure is good and flows without issues or interruptions.  The author does a great job on keeping the reader engaged and wanting more just like his other stories.  I look forward to seeing what challenges that Nathan and his team face in future chapters and what winding paths the author takes us on as the story progresses.  Keep up the good work Matt.

Okay so let's start this advanced review,
Style: while the concept of "system" is not new the way it is approached is different than usual and while at first it may seem like a classic classroom isekai it is not and I like how the author set the premise up
Story: contrary to most "system" story it is not just "MC beat mobs, lvl  up and go beat more mobs" sure there is fight against mobs and all after all it's a story about survival but there is much more characters developpment than fight scene and the plot is interesting as it is mysterious and I can't wait to see how it goes
Grammar: not being a native English I think I'm not the best at finding grammar mistake but I haven't yet noticed much of them in this story so far
Charaters: the characters are well described and true to themselves all along, the mc may seem op at first and overall he is stronger than most but he isn't the strongest, he is aslo socially akward wich lead to scences that are fun to read in my opinion

I decided to review this story here instead of the end so I wouldn't inadvertenly include spoilers.
This a well written work from an author who continues to get better with every story he writes. There seems to me to be an underlying feeling the author wants to use characters from his other stories or partial themes once again. It really doesn't matter as what he is doing works.
Here is a story where the main characters are demigods, children of gods and people who use magic to the extreme. Think Merlin in the present time with the dragons, phoenixes, griffins and other heavenly creatures fighting other-worldly dimensions that enslave children [over 18] to fight their demons.
The system was created to trap souls for power to do their bidding. The players are meant to fix defects in the system. Then come these super-players who are to destroy the system as it has become too powerful. Not the first time the players were created to do this, but surely the last.
For those that bash the story for having gay characters, get a fucking life. Yes, they are the same as in real ife. This isn't a gay story full of sex although it contains many sex scenes of a hetrosexual nature and very descriptive. If you can't handle sex of any kind or even gay characters then go to disney.com where you can find all of the gay shit you don't want.
That said, this is not a family story, but a game in which whether you want to be in it or not, sometime in the future all will be in the game or dead. Their is no way out.

Well written story. The characters seem a little weird, but I'm guessing that's a cultural thing.

Love the concept for this story. Love the MC's personality.
The reason everyone in the game reacts so calmly to death/gore is explained in chapter 33 or 34.

    Pros:
One of the better LitRPG settings I have seen. The setting has legs.
    Cons:
MC is OP, and his actions don't make any sense from any perspective.
    Side characters have no personality.

Great story. Very unique. However the authors view on sex is unrealistic. There is alot of talk about gay sex, which is fine if the straight mc had normal sex. Which he does not. The author tries to explain it away but it is totally unrealistic.  The teen mc refrains from sex 100 times but has sex twice. Not sure why the author has an issue with sex or sex scenes. Just say, goin to bed to take care of boyfriend duties, then end the scene. The mc relieves himself with otjer boys around than he has sex. Its freaking odd and unrealistic no matter how it is explained away.

Written up to Ch. 76, expect some mild/moderate spoilers:
    The Good:
Interesting sort-of-but-not-exactly System Apocalypse scenario. A dash of urban fantasy. MC is innovative and its interesting to see his approach to problems and the way he adapts (atleast in the beginning).
    The Flaws:
The MC is an incredibly toxic person to know. He's always right and if anyone contradicts or makes a decision he doesn't like, he completely steamrolls over them and they end up just giving up and going with what he wants. Which gets really abuse-y imo when his girlfriend/SO #1 gets pregnant and he basically doesn't allow her to do anything at all in the .000000000001% chance something might happen like falling down on her stomach atop a sharp object as someone suplexes her to force it into her or something stupidly unprobable and unreasonable. There's a common thread brought up of him 'being bad at social' but really he's just an asshole and people stick with him because...*waggles fingers* Fate has decided they're all chums therefor they are. I'mma stay away from determinism vs free will on this, because thats a rabbit hole with no winner. He has a breadth/depth of skill issue I have with the Luck Lockyer story where he knows either too much or too deep of skills for his age to be any way reasonable- but I suppose thats excused with the whole "specifically created" bit.
Other than the MC, it felt a bit of a jump-to-conclusion to 'destroy' whatever is spreading the System. Nothing nefarious has happened other than the brutal, cut-throat Tutorial which is basically basic training. They're not being thrown into the frontlines to mow down grunts in some interdimensional war. Any place they've viseted has been abandoned of sapients, or theyv'e found evidence people used to live but were missing/wiped out, and they were clearing out vicious monsters. All indications actually point to the System simply a way of reclaiming 'lost' planets, atleast as far as the story has come.
    The smut gets
