While searching for his Master's killer, Taurise Aniren stumbles upon a mysterious orphan; a girl by the name of Amira Sanavyr. Despite a lack of training, she has the incredible abillity to control electricity. Taurise takes her under his wing, training her to effectively use her power. Together the two loners form an unlikely friendship.

However the past is always close behind. The Gods and their Cursed army have Taurise in their sights, and the Order of Indara has also taken notice of his vigilantism. Can the unlikely duo evade their enemies? Or will Taurise's past finally catch up with him?
