Again from Scratch Saga: Izmittor Unchained

Description
If someone precious to you needed your help, would you extend it? Would you still do it if it costs you your peace and perhaps even your life?
For Tercius, a man mysteriously reborn nearly thirteen years ago, there was only one answer to both questions.
Feeling compelled, he sets out to journey to the northern Sogea and its infamous Western Izmittor mountain range, a natural stronghold of sky tearing mountains and deep canyons. Legends about the place abounded, but he knew without a doubt that the hidden valleys, rushing rivers, thick forests, and desolate landscapes hid powerful predators, the likes of which stalk the harsh terrains for an easy source of meat and bones.
The many natural dangers of Western Izmittor would be hard enough to navigate safely for a lone traveler, but to make matters worse Tercius had enemies in the heights of Western Izmittor, humans and spirits who would see him dead if they ever learned of his true connection to the Pyramid of Tergaron and the Society of the Magi. To make things even more difficult, he also had to ensure that the true extent of his own Innate Skills remained hidden, for if the prying eyes of the world fell on him and his many secrets came to light, then he would never again know a day of peace.
Can one reborn man manage to keep his secrets and still succeed in doing what his conscience compels him to?
Will he have to choose one over the other?
And can he do any of it without reigniting the sparks of a planetary war the likes of which had not been seen in millennia?
Follow Tercius’ story and find out!

Reading it is NOT necessary to read this story, but for anyone who wants to get a little bit more background, here is a link:https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/38803/again-from-scratchAgain from Scratch was my first journey into writing and I have taken all I learned from that and started writing Again from Scratch Saga, a continuation that is almost stand alone. Changes in certain phrases and words between the two are edits made because of the rewrite plans I have for the old story. The story is available here, on RR, on Webnovel, and on Scribble Hub.The cover was taken from PublicDomainPictures.net and made by one Nona Lohr

- Jacob BiglerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great story, easy to read. The characters are really well thought out, and they seem to act along the character build up that has been given. The characters do not break character in order to push the story along, but fall in line with there development. I have not seen many issues with grammar, a few miss spelled words here and there but considering this is a rough or a first draft, that is to be expected. I enjoy the main plot line, the idea behind creating and it's in your own abilities, and how it is being achieved has been put together nicely. At times the characters does seem to be a bit overpowered, but it has been dialed back when needed. There probably should be more issues or contentions around main character as he is very and I'm willing to open up or except things at face value. I feel there should also be instances where the main character had issues when he was creating his skills, it almost always seems to work out to his advantage. Having times where he had to learn from his mistakes would be a good way to help advance his knowledge as well as his determination. . As there are multiple directions to story could take, I look forward to see your vision in how to resolve the issues that have come along and continue to build the characters. You can use that contention as sources for his growth to where he does except more, but you have done a great job so far. Overall really good story. Even though I have read many stories on Royal roads, this is the first review I have given. I hope that helps, and look forward to your development.
- maddmaestroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have read all of the chapters of both parts that are currently available. I like the MC even though I find his mental illness frustrating. For someone so smart he really allows fear to have an inordinate amount of control over his decisions. It is this weakness that humanized his otherwise robotic nature. I look forward to more, hopefully soonish!!!!
- SteamrollaRoyal Road★★ 2.0I thought the first story was amazing and was so happy that the saga wasn't over... until I tried reading it. The author for some reason thinks people want to read a sequel without reading the first book and is attempting to write it that way... which isn't working. Also appears to have forgotten the previous story? Note to all authors: if there is a fact that you don't like in a story, you either need to edit it out or work around it. Attempting to pretend the fact was always different doesn't work.
- XRoyal Road★★ 2.0The change of nouns from the first book is extremely offputting. Also, the pacing of the book could use some work. I tried reading but it felt like reading a history book for school. I would recommend avoiding too many paragraphs of the character's thoughts. Hmm ... Thanks for the chapters.
- AlemenuRoyal Road★ 1.0Its okay. The tangents are longer, and the mc goes against his own interests all the time for...reasons. The system was nice but after going in circles with descriptions and lore the retconning felt bad. This is a sequel meant to be a stand alone but really it was made to avoid negative review from the original which is kindof disingenuous.(author says this not my opinion) It was... okay.
