After death?

An old mad scientist after researching in laws of space and time finally develops a machine that can teleport you anywhere.

At death's bed the old man prepares to die while wondering in the void space which is filled with dark matter to explore and to find whether alien exist or not.

But alas the old man dies a dog's death while colliding with a star undergoing supernova. Is it is the end? or the beginning of a new life?
