Aetherwave: Building Up

Technology like time advances. The same is true for all things, from Magic to Spirituality, Martial prowess to cunning.

Modern metallurgy gave rise to cities built up instead of just out. Towers of steel and glass that hold more people than small towns. Magic and Alchemy have given birth to new glass and crystalline objects for decoration and arms.  New printers churn out multiple days labor of a scribe with a touch, magic scrolls are commonplace.

Yesterday an old force awoke and ate several city blocks.
