An attempt at a 'believable' isekai story. How would a feudal society function with magic, classes, and monsters. If a system existed that guided people to better themselves, what would people choose?

Would there be a ruling elite hoarding knowledge to stay in power? Maybe, monsters make travel too dangerous and thus the world is just a collection of city states.

Finally, how would a man from a magicless world adapt to his new life?
