Description

It was the third day without sleep, slogging through with little to sustain him other than coffee and looming bills, that Liam found himself face to face with a portal.

What other option did he have but to jump in?

Unknown to him, the destination was the world of Crystal Skylights, a universe of his own making. Except now Liam has to confront that he's just a human in a world where Gods walk the earth.

The only edge he possesses is his knowledge of this universe, a knowledge that makes him a prime target.

Will it be enough?

Interesting concepts and fleshed out, three dimensional characters expertly weaved through the progression/isekai medium. The original magic system is cool, well-balanced and even has a defined supply/demand interaction with the economy, which is more than I could have asked for. The grammar is on point and it seems well planned out. Really sets itself apart from other RR fictions.
NOTE that I wouldn't even bother giving to a less accomplished RR fiction:
Took off half a point from the character score since I believe that with the depth this story gives its characters' inner world, we should be seeing much more conflict. In the inner protagonist's stream at least. It's like appearing in a different world, even if it is of his own 'making', had a minimal effect on Liam's state of mind. Shouldn't he give some thought to his previous life? Family members? Close friends? A comfortable couch from his house that he misses? Flashbacks to a coffeeshop employee he had a crush on? Feelings on becoming more than human, given his ordinary life so far?
He's been very practical which makes sense. But even in crisis, these thoughts come up, distract, and make us more human.
Love what you're doing and can't wait to see where you take it next.

Wow, what a start if I had found this book in a bookstore and it was marked as a New York Times best seller, I would still be pleasantly surprised with the story.
Find this on Royal Road rising stars is like seeing the first matches played by Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods. Feels like it’s that good.
    Style
The writing style is outstanding with flowing pros. Somehow, it’s like watching an adventure movie in my head, but it’s mixed with a travel documentary. The twist that it’s a world created by the person or at least that they have been writing about for ages and that he is isekai’ed into that world is a brilliant concept. Maybe someone has written similar stuff before I don’t know I haven’t read anything like it, so this is brilliant.
    Characters
Immediately strong personality. And that’s despite the language difficulties!
That this is written in the writeaton, I barely believe it. Feels like something the author has been working on for years.
    Grammar
    Flawless
    Story
So fun. It has one of the best openings I’ve read, and it just feels believable. Such a great setup with the goddess of fate being bored because she can see the future, and then she fucks up. Fate doesnt want to be tied into a ball of nothing. And then shit gets real from there.
and I also enjoyed how the MC just rolls with what happens. Maybe it would be more realistic to have him freak the F out, but I’ve read that many times now, and having him more “enjoy” the experience, and there being a reason for why he does so, made for a smooth and enjoyable entry into the story.
I can imagine a million ways it goes from here, and it is such a ride. Can’t wait to read more :)

Story: Each part of the plot is driven either by the characters or is a consequence of the magic system, which makes it feel fleshed out and realistic. I like that a language barrier was included at the beginning and the way of addressing it is interesting to read about. Lots of fun. The pacing is good. It starts off pretty fast, with high stakes and lots of action, then levels off a bit into slower pacing as the world is introduced. Feels a little like the pacing was getting worked out as it was written, which makes sense since this was for writathon.
Style: Seems pretty polished. Lots of immersive worldbuilding that is not too heavy on exposition but gives you just enough context so that you understand what is going on. Each part of the world that is explored seems important to the story and is interesting to read about. The prose flows well, and the descriptions paint a nice picture.
Grammar: Excellent. No noticeable errors, so it never got in the way of the story.
Characters: Jump off the page even when you don’t know what they are saying at first because of the language barrier. The main character seems pretty content to go with the flow, which is fine with me because it seems to fit with his characterization. The rest of the characters are three-dimensional with their own motivations.

No info dump in beggining chapters describing all of their "Written story", world as story goes on feels coherent. Character reactions and interactions don't feel forced.
I like that you have enough information about the world to imagine an image of it while reading, and places MC goes to are fun to read about.

Every chapter I read, the story gets better and better. The world unfolds before the reader's very eyes, slowly revealing more and more twists and turns, while also being fun to read.
The style and writing are better than the average Royal Road stuff that usually is on the Rising Stars. If I had to compare, the style seems similar to Sanderson's work, which I mean as a complement, not too descriptive. I mean that as a plus, as we get our visions of characters and places based on the events and the actions they take, which slowly crafts an image in our heads.
For the story, it is pure excellence. As I said, the more you read, the better it gets (or at least the more hype it builds up). More characters get introduced, more places are revealed, and the story progresses in a logical fashion that still leaves room for unforeseen twists and turns.
The grammar is mostly perfect, and to the casual reader, flawless. No glaring errors shone in my way breaking the immersion, not many grammar issues at all.
And last but not least, we have the characters. Oh, do I love them. I love to hate the characters that I hate, I love to love the characters that I love. Each excludes their own aura, and gives off their own feel, distinct from any other. They all have understandable motivations, and there aren't really any character breaks at all.
Last few closing thoughts: if you read that many fanfictions, then you've probably stumbled onto Self-Inserts. The main pull towards them are mainly how the Self- Insert can use their metaknowlege to game the setting, how the Insert changes the setting (at least for me). Of course, most authors writing them don't know this, and we get trash like 'OP SI GAMES SETTING BY KILLING SCION STRAIGHT AWAY AND PULLING IN THE ENTIRE OF CAULDRON INTO HIS SUPER HAERM' (Yes, I've been reading Worm fanfics, how could you tell?). Anyways, my point is that this is almost like a Self-Insert done right, if not for the sole factor that this isn't even a Self-Insert.

there are few chapter, but going from style to , representation . i would say that the author , isn't a newbie author.
From what i can see, it's perfect grammar wise, the characters shown are quite interesting, mc included.
This new iteration of the story seems much better than the original.
Honestly i expect this one in time, will be  one of the best novels.

This is one of my new favorite ongoing novels on RR, which is saying something since there's a decent number of series currently competing for my attention. Either way, the grammar and prose are great, I'm really interested in each of the characters' stories and perspectives, the writing style has to be one of the best I've read in a while, and the story is super interesting and has a huge amount of potential.
There are few series that have made me this invested in only 298 pages; I'm looking forward to reading this every Mon/Wed/Fri from now on and am probably going to start reading some of the author's other works (i.e., "Monsters and Maidens" and its sequel, "Alchimia Rex").
Keep up the awesome writing :)!
    Slight summary/word patting below:
So, I'm not sure what else I could really say about this novel aside from the sense that pretty much everything about this series has been a really enjoyable experience, but I'll try to give some highlights: I love the MC's interactions with the goddess; I've been smiling while reading almost every scene they're shown talking with one another, which is something that I've only had happen a few times. (Note: I'm mainly looking towards Dao of the Web by CatVI when thinking about similar character interaction vibes.)
Note 2: Yes, I'm doing a small shoutout since Dao of the Web has some of the best character interactions I've experienced in a while.

A great start, with only one thing that bothers me for now. The author is setting up a detailed world for now, and the main character is interestng. It'll play a lot with his perspective, which can be deduced very early from the initial hook.
Style: We are invested in a few key characters, with some pov switches that feel welcome to get more context. The world feels detailed and the narration flows well. No problem on that front for now. Maybe it could do with even more narration, but that may be just me.
Story: The story, as of this chapter, is barely starting, but the stakes are  high as chapter 0 makes clear, and there is a lot of room for it to develop in a pretty big way. For now, it mainly involved reacting, but the fact we got a lot of character interactions is encouraging if someone is scared of power fantasies with one MC that does everything by himself.
    Grammar: No problem in particular.
Character: This story for now really relies on its characters, especially the MC, the big bad of chapter 0, and a character we see later.  I'm not a huge fan of the big bad for now, so I'm taking half a star off just for that,  but there is room for improvement. The Mc can feel a bit detached but has reasonable worries about his situation and how to approach it, and his point of view being written in a believable way really is the crux of the story for now because of his circumstances.  Has the potential to be extremely interesting. The first side character we meet  could be a huge part of the story, and does feel interesting, but
is not with the MC right now, so here's hoping she wasn't just a one off character.
I hope the author continues exploring the mc's perspective and really give him a way to use it well.

    *1st Edit (Chpt. 19)
One of the most interesting takes on the isekai genre I've seen.  The writing feels professionally done and gives me a lot of confidence in what will come next.
It's still early but the whole world feels fleshed out with characters that have their own wants and desires.  The only thing I'm hoping to see a bit more of is the background or motivations of the main character.  Considering how rich the world building is it feels a little strange to be locked in a tutorial mode but I feel confident it'll be worth it once we move on.  Overall I definitely recommend it and think it'll become a very popular story on RR.
    * 2nd Edit SPOILERS (Chpt 29) I really wanted to get into it and am still very interested in the world building but the tutorial is kind of becoming a slog.  Most of all though it's looking like a magical girl companion is going to be a big part of it.  Even if it doesn't become some kind of harem thing it's just not for me.  If that's your thing I'm sure you'll really enjoy it though.

The main attraction to this story is the characters and how they interact. I will say I liked the begining of the fic way more than how it currently is because it slowly became more and more generic. Typical "friendship matters" stuff.
The world tries to be unique and I appreciate that but the only two things that I find sets it apart fron every other fantasy setting are the variety of magic items and the way fate works (the divinities are kind of unique but they clearly take a lot of inspiration from other fics).
My main annoyance is the protagonist's half-assed motivations and how unnatural the introduction of the main love interest felt. It happened way too quick and the development felt forced to me.
Still a decent fic so I reccomend a read. Currently still follow it.
