I love love love the premise of this story. Morgan Ward was a cop from Earth who got transported to a world with magic and had adventures that became the stuff of legends. But this story isn't about him, he's retired now. It's about his grandson, living in a world still adjusting to the aftermath of everything his gramps got up to.
Countries have risen and fallen, some geography has been changed, there are new advancements being made in magic research all the time. All in all, an exciting time to be alive for a young man like Magnus, who wants to chart his own path. Magnus has been chosen to attend the inaugural year of the newly created Aether Academy. Follow him as he makes friends, learns magic, and has his own adventures.
Characters are interesting and grammar is good with only the occasional typo. The world building and magic system are vibrant and detailed and we've only scratched the surface. I love that despite there being a typical isekai hero having made his mark on the world, there are still new challenges to be overcome and new things to discover.
I'm loving this story and think you will too. Give it a read!

excited about the concept and happy with the great groundwork you are putting into the world and its systems.
So few stories at least on amazon in the litrpg and UF stories these days skip over proper ability development and theory.
So please dont stop my friend and I hope your motivation and enthusiasm for the story keeps up, looking good so far

So far I am enjoying where it looks like this story is heading.  The character developement is pretty well done and I find the characters interesting and not one demensional so far.
I am not crazy about the interlude myself, as it seemed to intrupt the flow of the story, but is probably just me.
Overall I am really enjoying this story so far.
