A Political and Military Progression Fantasy adventure!
This series tells the story of young Aeolwyn. A prince in the kingdom of Camulan. His brother hates him, is father is annoyed by him, and they conspire to have him exiled from the capital city. He is forced to become a soldier in his father's army and is sent to the most dangerous region in the whole kingdom: Fort Camulan, where the skirmishes with the neighboring kingdom have been happening more often, and getting even more deadly.

This is the prequel to my canceled Blobber video game Aeowlyn's Legacy. It's set on a large island-continent called Laryndor that is protected from the outside by a mysterious magical shield, but that doesn't stop all the inhabitants from fighting vicious monsters and bloodthirsty enemies.

- KyleKatastropheRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm really enjoying this story. I like the setting, and how he spends his time drawing little pictures of the scenes...it's almost sort of cinematic. Like in the beginning when he follows a little boat, and then goes to a city, and then down a road. It was really cool.
The action scenes are detailed and well described. I didn't have any trouble following what was going on.
The characters all seem to be fully fleshed out and have clear motivations. Aeolwyn, the innocent kid wants to prove himself to his brother, and pays for it dearly. But that little mistake helps him grow up a lot faster than he should have.
The world is really well fleshed out. You can tell the author really spent a lot of time on it. The main country has its own culture and practices that, while they appear to be influenced by Medieval English traditions and by other writers like GRRM, they still stand out on their own. I can’t wait to see what’s going on in the other countries
The only thing I kinda wished I could see was more about the Star Children's plans go into action....they seem to be doing a lot of planning so far. but otherwise great! - Mohammed OsmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A gem in Royal Road. Finished 'Book 1' and really enjoyed reading it.
This story is a mix of military and politics, with a manageable number of characters. Not litrpg, but the main character is super competent. He's introducing innovations and thinks on his feet. The writing quality is high and the story is interesting. The characters feel well realized and interesting. The story progresses at a good clip, zero fat/filler. One lone criticism I have is some important things felt like it happened too easily or fast. But I chalked that up to author's prerogative and it didn't take too much away from enjoying the story. The main cast is varied and we only scratched the surface of, besides the MC. The world building is solid, and the conflicts in it are setup well. The writing style is professional, both fighting and magic feel well rounded. The politicking/conspiring is well written too. Both Big Bads in the story are proper villains
In many ways this first book feels like a precursor the the main story. Kinda like reading the origin story and now the real military campaign will happen. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series. - TokroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s a good book the grammar is good I like how the nativity of youth is shown in the young main character and how he starts to lose it during the story. I’m looking forward to new content and hope the author stays consistent with this wonderful story. Thank you for the book
