Charlie discovered that this new world is completely different from the bottomless abyss she called home.  This classic fantasy world is full of colors, sights and sounds that she had never encountered before.

Setting out to explore this foreign land, Charlie enjoys sightseeing, good music, and savoring delectable human dishes.  She isn't picky with her food, since any severed body part would do.

Trigger/Content Warning:The full course features excessive and gratuitous violence with a side dish of gore.  The appetizer showcases body horror, and dessert exhibits disturbing scenes.  The first chapter is an anomalous steak served extra bloody.

I am just filling the words here, since I don't have all that much to say. It's been only 10 chapters so I can't really go in-depth in this review. Character dynamics seem interesting, both comical and with room to grow. Check the story's summary and give it a read if it seems even slightly interesting.

Basic review for now, I'll come back and revise this into an advanced one once the story matures some more.
I love the story so far. It's a very well written take on "cosmic horror learning to live in a mortal plane" which is a genre that I do enjoy a lot.
If I had to pick something that bothered me then perhaps it was just preconceptions, but from looking at the thumbnail I was expecting a modern/urban setting. The story takes place in a classic fantasy world however, and that doesn't quite sink in until the first bit of combat. This is mainly a nitpick for me though.
Altogether a good read, I'd recommend it.

It's a book with a super unique idea and I absolutely love the dedication put into describing every event and detail. Charlie is a complete and utter cinnamon roll...apart from the fact that she uh, ate a group of cultists and stuff. But yeah who cares, Charlie rules! I love how much you made us care about Charlie in just a few chapters. If anything were to happen to her, I'm grabbing the AK-47 and sending anybody who hurts her for some divine judgement

I found this fiction to be pretty captivating, and very visceral in how it describes how the Eldritch terror Charlie adapting to the human world. I think the story does a good job showcasing how Charlie isn't human, through her interactions with other characters (especially Evelynn) and as well as her interactions with her new environment. As of this review, the story isn't far along, but I am excited to see where the story goes.
In terms of writting quality, this story is well-written and has varied prose which makes reading it captivating

Not fun as in comedic. More like fun as in 'yeah, this is all kinds of hecked but let's just not stop reading it.' Read and you will understand.
I did have some issues with the very high frequency of single-line paragraphs but it wasn't to the point I had to stop midway. Got hard to remember where I got to due to it, however, forcing me to reread a few parts.
    Personality? Yes. 4.5/5.

This Review is a submission to Review Challenge.
Style: The reading flows and the descriptions are in great detail. I personally prefer the early chapters compared to the later. It gives a dark edgy reading experience. Although the later chapters reads better, there are lack of immersion.
Grammar: For this, I am in no position to comment on the use opf grammar. As I believe the auto-correct should have provided enough guidence to the matter.
Story: I personally is not a big fan of gore and grimdark. The whitty interactions between the characters really make the story enjoyable to read. The hint of mystery surrounding the identity of the eldritch monster within Charlie and her adventure with Evelynn are pretty interesting. It is a little bit slow though, the eyeballs arc alone covered into over 3 chapters. I'm impatient and wanted to know what's next. I would prefer the story to move faster, but the action element might be shorten if that's the case. So it depends on the author on striking that balance on the story pace.
Character: I do love to read the interaction between Charlie and Evelynn! Although the later chapter focus on Charlie's action. Both characters are memorable and unique. Then came Mister Johnson in the group (will he be the permanent member?). I am curious about how the author will develope the characters.
Overall: The series is still rather young, only 11 chapters at the time I wrote this comment. I am looking forward to read the next chapter. As for the overall reading experience, I would say, it is a well written work. If you love dark fantasy with lots of gore element, this could be a novel to read.

    ---------------------------------------------------
Style: To start it off, I'll have to say that this is an average of a writing style that was a 3 and one that was a 4, putting it at 3.5. The initial style wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't the best. There were too many tense confusions and while it didn't make reading all that difficult, it was overall not enjoyable. The one that Retrochoir changed to in the last few chapters, though, is excellent and is a solid 4 at minimum.
It definitely flows smoother and is overall more comfortable to read, so my suggestion is to cut it some slack until the style upgrades at around Chapter 9. At least until the previous chapters are rewritten in the same style?
Grammar: There were some issues with the grammar but overall, nothing all that bad. It doesn't make it difficult to read and from the prose Retrochoir is using, it's obvious that while they can use English properly, they aren't aware of some basic grammar rules, especially regarding punctuation.
Story: The story is a solid 5. The worldbuilding, while not particularly expanded on, is being introduced to us at a moderate dose rather than with dozens of paragraphs of info dumping so that's a start. Overall, I like how the story's turning out and the characters are pretty likable. Note that I include "likable characters" in the Story section because I want to dedicate the Character section to actually talk about how the characters are characterized, and the dialogue.
Character: The dialogues come off somewhat stiff and the character interactions between Charlie and Evy are a bit spotty. The only word to describe it with is... wooden. Like, it's great but it just lacks that one aspect that makes it organic. I can't put a finger on just one cause and blame it because it's not as simple as that. The characterization is decently done, though. Charlie is rather convincing for an eldritch monstrosity trapped in a human body and Evy seems

While stories about eldritch abominations--even eldritch abomindation masquerading as cute girls--can get away with no making sense, there's a fine artform to doing so. The problem is that this story has trouble making sense in more traditional ways of stories not making sense. Is this actually a traditional fantasy world? Why does the friend sign them up as adventurers? How does merely signing up as adventurers mean they know how to fight? Is the protagonist actually a strong lead or not? Is there or is there not a plot?
