Admin Unprivileged: Great responsibility, little power
Community Rating
Description
Astrid finds herself falling through the veil between worlds. She lands in a world of magic with no memory of her life before, apart from a strong sense of deja vu.
Others from her group gain world-changing powers. One obtains mental magic and another can reload the world at will and after death. Astrid, on the otherhand, discovers the system behind this world. She becomes an administrator, and can bend the fabric of reality. The catch? Level 0 admin privileges aren't good for much, and she has to navigate the bureaucratic nightmare of the job attached to her new powers.
This is an underdog story that seeks to balance humor and suspense. Readers can expect dry humor, but also the very real possibility of failure with long-lasting consequences. The author appreciates stories where injuries matter, the struggle is real, failure is possible, but humor and kindness can still abound.

- btillyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm writing this review very early - at chapter 4. So this is based on the promise that I see could be there, without knowing how it will turn out.
I like the premise of the story. Astrid wakes up in a LitRPG. Her magic power is that...she's a bureaucrat. At the bottom of the bureaucracy that's in charge of everything. But very much the bottom, and very much useless. I'm giving the story a 5 because I found this both original, and an interesting twist.
The writing is high quality. No complaints about grammar. 5.
The style is light hearted and humorous. We start with a frozen Astrid being clumsily kidnapped by clearly incompetent kidnappers, and proceed from there. I've enjoyed the humor, So I'm giving that a 5.
I gave characters a 4, but that is not a slight on the author. This early in the story, it is too early to expect the characters to be very well-developed. We're still in setup, and currently we've encountered more major characters than we've had chapters. So we're blocking out the scene, and filling out the world, rather than really getting to know the people involved. Hopefully that will start changing once we're a few more chapters in.
