Description

In 2069, the United States was moving toward a second frontier era, a second Manifest Destiny across the solar system. Then, one day, thanks to a strange alien signal, they discovered a hidden facility on Mars. The signal was transmitted through a device considered an ancient decoration but turned out to be a portal to another world.

With a series of events, the United States sent one of its most elite teams to this world to investigate, Combat Fire Team-1, also known as Comanche, and discover why the people of Alagore opened a Bridge to their world.

Comanche must explore the connections of this new world and the wonders discovered on Mars, confront the darkness known as the Unity in its global conquest, and above all, protect the US and the rest of Earth from this new threat. However, will they be able to discover the secrets of this war or fall victim to all that had come before?

This is what I like to call, a peak GATE-like fiction, it's amazing in the setting, especially with the new twist of not only Earth being set in the near future, but also of the otherworld having WW2-ish level of technology, strategies and tactics.
First, the Prologue, it's amazing, it doesn't just go ahead and say "hurr durr there is portal on Earth, go steamroll some intelectually-inept army", no, because not only is it an entire arc about how the portal on Earth (or rather in the Solar System) was activated, but also has the otherworld be built up as an actual, concerning threat even against the USA's near-future technology.
Then we go to Volume 1, it executes things, in my opinion, perfectly, the tone and pacing was great and I didn't lose track, the depiction of the battles, warfare, the worldbuilding of the otherworld and the climax of the arc was *mwah* chef's kiss.
Volume 2 is still in its first chapter, so here's hoping that we get to see more awesome stuff soon.
11/10, I would actively search for an amnesiac potion just to re-read this again.

As of this review V1 Chapter 10 is the latest update.
This is a very interesting story and I can see it's only going to get more exciting. We have barely scratched the surface of what this world has to offer. This isn't your typical Gate/modern army beat down story. The armies of this world is dangerous and are a threat to even modern militaries and we haven't even see the main enemy nation yet. Yet the U.S. Armed Forces aren't going to beaten that easily, as President Kennedy said "not because they are easy, but because they are hard". And believe that's the theme for this story. In addition the geo-politics on Earth are a nice background and have the potential to play an even larger role.
Suffice to say, I can't wait for the next chapter.

This story is good, a gem in the rough. It's a shame it's not more well-known.
    First, the style:
it's well-written, fluid, and the fight scenes are very intense. It has a lot of potential and is better than average on RR.
The part where this story shines, though, is through its plot.
The author is clearly interested in politics and has made the diplomatic world of future humanity as accurate as possible. He also has created an alternate world with interesting magitech that can hold its own against our Earth tech.
The grammar is lacking, though. I don't really care about it since English is not my first language and I usually can't notice it, but I still saw a lot of typos which could have been prevented by a good proofreading.
I find it weird since the author spared no expense for this story. Maybe a bit of dyslexia? I don't know.
The characters are okay. While not being the focus of the story, they are still interesting enough to not just be pawns on the battlefield, and they are still more fleshed out than all the other stories of this style.
In the end, it's one of the best in this niche genre, and you will be interested for far longer since there is a real challenge. It's a shame it's not more well-known, something I hope my review will help correct.
Keep it up, author, you're doing well.

I'm reviewing this after finishing AA V3 Vagahm, Chapter 1.
First time I'm giving a review on this site. I love isekai/portal works. Modern military goes to a fantasy world? That is totally in my wheelhouse. So I'm admit I'm being very forgiving since I love these type of fiction.
I like how the modern military is struggling in this world. They have experienced set backs and some gains. I find that refreshing compared to all the others where the modern military steam rolls over their fantasy counterpart.
It is just that the grammar is extremely poor. Spelling and grammar mistakes abound.  It is sometimes a struggle trying to figure out what the author is saying. Especially when the author uses the wrong word when he means something different. It is not as bad as machine language translation works though. Just irritating. The author needs a good editor/proof-reader.

Plot moves at a glacial pace. Sometimes there's way too much unnecessary banter. It felt like too little progress after starting the SECOND VOLUME. Not enough actually happens to justify the amount of time it takes to read.
I skipped to the THIRD VOLUME, and they still haven't alerted the public, made a formalized declaration of war, or sent in significant forces. They're at war with an entire world whose technology is near parity (superior in some ways) to their own. It's frustrating and the only explanation I have is bad writing with too much filler.
I like the concept, but I think what's been written so far could've been done better with half the words.
