Hello dear reader, it seems you have happened upon my journal of sorts. Inside this journal, you will find the knowledge that has let me survive in this grim land of Ciaradh for these many years. I fear that I can not run from age, as I can from amadadh-allaidh freumhor togail feóil. I know I am not long for this world, I can feel Bàs’, death’s, cold hand on my shoulder. So, therefore, I entrust this book and pass down my wisdom to whoever finds this journal– you. May it serve you well in life, as it did in mine.
