I am asking ahead of reading, but is this a slash fic. First chapter seemed good.

Kinda fast paced though, but it's not necessarily a con. I just hope it doesn't end like many others with him meeting lots of powerhouses(in this novel's terms, higher than count level) on a planet that's supposed to be 'without qi and without cultivators'

Edit/new review: I've since read to the latest chapter (12/09/2019 mm/dd/yyyy) and am hooked. While there are many, MANY errors, the story has a sort of... hook? To it. I'm not sure how to describe it, but once that awful LoL bit finished, it hasn't come back since, and the quality has risen massively. Definitely worth a read. Feel free to skip the LoL gameplay parts within chapters - they can be summed up with, "wow, he's good. How can he be so low-ranked when he's this good?"  He does meet important characters in these chapters, but they don't really talk during the game... except maybe once.
    Old review:
This book requires an editor to change more than 90% of the text before it'll be truly enjoyable. And don't even get me started on how dull it gets when explaining and detailing every single move that his LoL game character makes for absolutely no discernible reason! We get it, you like the game. Many people do. Why, then, must you literally provide a paragraph describing and defining the meaning of each move? Just stop. Delete those parts of the story. Sure, it's fine to have LoL in the story, but dude. If you can't make it entertaining to read, keep it to an absolute minimum, PLEASE.

The stroy is interesting, but the main detracting element is the pacing. Each chapter feels like either a build up to, or a reveal of, a new twist or turn. There are no chapters where our mc simply sits back and consolidates everything going on, while we can feel the antagonists gathering their strength. This lead me to very quickly start to burn out on reading the story. However I still feel hope that the author can remedy this in the future, and that they have mearly been setting the stage in these opening chapters.
