A Yellow Dress Forgotten

Description
Walkers. Muertos. Deadheads. Lurkers... The dead which roamed, they wore many names. Monster was yet another one. Though, Clementine knew most monsters didn't decay. Their hearts still throbbed. Their eyes, still with color. The monsters, still with words to asphyxiate.
Because she was one herself: a monster with fire in her breath, and eyes that burned her own Hell. She drank for her life. She drank to forget.
[A TWDG Retelling; Alcoholism & PTSD Themes; Written for catharsis.]
Fic is broken up into episodes (EpX), which are broken up into chapters to abide by the word limit (they're long lol); being a retelling, each episode will be based on my play-through of the seasons (SX).
Ep1|Between S2 & S3.Ep2-5|S3.Ep1.5 (Interlude)|S1, Between S1 & S2, Between S2 & S3.Ep6|Between S3 & S4.Ep7|Between S3 & S4, S4.Ep8-16|S4.
Edits will be done semi-frequently, as will updates. I'll post whenever I can for AYDF, but long breaks (will announce in A/Ns) between updating is expected. I don't know how many total chapters there will be as of yet, but I'm betting ~25.
I hope you enjoy.:D

- BedwigRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The reason I read this story was because of the cover. I'm a cover shopper, so good covers attract my attention. Frankly, when I decided to give this a go, I had no expectaions. But this managed to surprise me. A lot.
This story really sucks you in. Even though I haven't seen any of the walking dead movies or read any of the beeks (If there are any), this story still managed to paint a vivid picture in my mind.
The beginning was confusing for me, because I, like I just said, haven't seen any of the movies before, so everything was a guess.
The grammar is very good. There was no mistakes that I could see while I was reading this.
The style is good. The author describes each scene vividly, and the pacing is perfect.
The story is good. I'm not sure where this is different or similar to the walking dead, so I'm just going to treat it as a seperate story.
The characters were very good. The author's portrayal of the MC's inner thoughts made sense, and you could easily imagine the MC's feelings. The characters also keep in character. There are no character breaks.
The first chapter is very long. Worth 50 pages. But even then, I think it's still too early to judge the story.
Will update review once the story has reached enough chapters/pages.
