Description
"Get your nose out of that phone! Playing games will get you nowhere in life!"
That's probably a phrase you've heard before right? Well what if they were wrong... what if... everyone was wrong?
What happens when a seeming innocuous, revolutionary MMORPG that suddenly bursts onto the world stage, flips reality on its head?
Suddenly, that character you spent so long grinding gear for, is now your only shield against the monsters that used to be safely trapped behind the screen, and time is running out.

- Monke_m@nRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0"A Wizard's Quest" by JustAnoth3rG0d is an absolute gem on Royal Road! From the very first chapter, the story hooks you with its vivid world-building, intriguing magic system, and a protagonist you can’t help but root for. The author masterfully balances action, humor, and character development, making each chapter a treat to read.
The protagonist’s journey from a novice to a powerful wizard is both relatable and inspiring, with plenty of challenges and twists to keep the story fresh and engaging. The side characters are equally well-developed, adding depth to the story while complementing the protagonist’s growth.
What sets this story apart is the unique take on magic and how seamlessly it’s woven into the plot. The world feels alive, with its own rich history and culture, and the stakes are high enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.
If you’re a fan of fantasy with a touch of humor and a lot of heart, "A Wizard's Quest" is a must-read. I highly recommended for fans of magical adventures and epic storytelling.
The world looks and sounds really cool. Kinda reminds me of SAO with an mmo come to life. Neverwinter is such a sassy queen lmao. Though it's not quite clear where the author seems to be going with the story so far, it's definitely a new kind of LitRPG. The array of main characters and the character interactions are its strongest point!
They carry the scenes well and feel real and relatable. Bryn isn't the cocky mc trope, at least not yet, he seems like someone worth rooting for. The design of the stat pages is a little inconsistent but seem to be getting far better as chapters go on. Can't wait to see where the author takes it!
