So, what we have here is a book that starts with essentially nothing. Not in a bad way, but it's the bare bones of a world. A gray box. That is all.  One would think that'd be boring, and yet Masked Genisis had me throughly intrigued.
Characters appear and the world starts to take shape. Suddenly, you find yourself fascinated by what can come of a monochromatic world with two inhabitants. I have a feeling this book will continue to make you ask more questions throughout as well.
Fascinating premise with a solid start. I do recommend it!
PSA: Just doing a simple review for now because I have every intention of returning and seeing what the author and characters create in the future. I'll update to advanced then.

As much as this story doesn't seem to have any plan behind it (so says the author), where it is going is very well done for flying by the seat of your pants.
Once it is finished, a rewrite to flesh it out will probably do wonders, as the potential is there for something great.
The overall fictions reads a bit abstract and empty, but plays into the Void theme well.
Keep an eye out on where this goes. Hopefully the author gets some solid thoughts to explore.
