Description

Poor Mark just cannot catch a break.  First he dies saving another person and is summoned in front of the "Overbeing".  The "Overbeing" gives Mark choices for his next reincarnation due to his selfless act.  However, all is not as it seems.  Just before being sent off to experience his next life as an evolver Mark overhears another person talking to the "Overbeing".  It seems Mark was somehow a threat to the "Overbeing" and was eliminated and sent on his way before he could cause problems.  Now that Mark knows what happens he vows to attain enough power to overcome the "Overbeing" and thus fulfill what he was eliminated for in the first place.  However, to do that he must master his evolver abilities and make it through a new world where magic and monsters are real.

Man reincarnates into a simple virus.  Must figure out how to evolve into more dangerous and significant things.  Hijinks, hilarity, and hopefully action occur along the way.

First off this was a very interesting premise. The first dozen of more chapters read as a novelization of the game Plague Inc. The the story changes a bit but that is ok. It does come back to its roots a few times.
I liked the internal dialog quite a lot. I felt like the characters choices made a lot of sense. The mc was quite an isolationist for the entire series. Some of the interactions felt a little weird near the end.
Didn't like the name of the tier 2 worlds but whatever it doesn't impact anything. Feels like it started being rushed and things started declining in quality a bit. Found some typos and errors that I didn't notice before.
The ending itself felt very much like the situation with Game of Thrones. Show runners or author in this case was just done and wanted to wrap it up as quickly as possible. However the major difference is that you stayed consistent with the in world logic. You had several satisfying call backs.
I feel like you could have covered some of the ramifications of the mcs actions, but I realize it wasn't that type of story.
Overall it was an enjoyable read. It was exactly what it presented itself as and it is complete which is quite satisfying.

My favorite part was the end that was so so perfect The idea of something so small that can become so big is amazing and yes I'm writing this all out just to fill it out the 50 word min is irritating

Just finished binging this and i really enjoyed it.
    Spoiler: Spoiler
I do feel the ending was rushed though. And as a side thought, Helen instead of eros would be a nice touch

I like genre isekai ( reincarnation ) but most isekai use same trope over and over again but this one it's different and honestly i like it you reincarnated as a virus in some body and you invect the other and kill certain R.O.B

Looking really good say far (as of ch. 7). I loved King of the Mountain. Can't wait to see what you do with a Re:
Be careful, most of the Re: stories i've read all end up stagnating after making the MC so overpowered they have trouble with the story. Then again, you did that in KotM and it was great all the way to the finish!

    "A VIRUS life for me"
    Virus is wrong.
    "A VIRAL life for me."
This is the correct version. Unless the title is meant to be a pun in a bun, then I'm just a jackass. :D
    Eitherway, good story.

Very few of the novels that i actually completed after new world. MC is powerful but not murderhobo. No young master stuff upto chapter 51. I like that it doesn't give xinxia vibe. I hardly read isekia novel in fantasy world due to same
Steps. Find yourself in forest , quickly find civilization and then levelup. This one takes different path and MC is not hungry for company like some highschool student 😂
Finished it. It was a good short novel

Good start but all chapters and progress of main character a bit rushed and the finishing chapters is like sprinting to the end.
All in all a good story with unique system and world building. I do not know what to say about it anymore than "Just read it" XD

Given the title and description, one would think that this is a story similar in nature to "Reborn as Single-Celled Organism" and other stories of similar nature. Where the focus is placed on the micro-scale at first, and then slowly paces itself through a unique blend of magical progression and evolution.
This is not that sort of story.
Rather humorously instead, "A Virus Life For Me" is a power fantasy to the extreme. I will give a rough summary of one of the main character's (many) basic powers. As it is relevant to the structure of the story.
He simply controls automatically replicating virus through a system-granted control panel. (Despite the fact there's no indication this was a Lit-Rpg?) These viruses can then steal traits from organisms they kill. Any organisms the protagonist kills through his viruses are given to him as a being he can automatically transform into, with no evolution required.
Naturally, the main character immediately uses this to bypass his viral form, since it is boring. (I would agree, the author made those first few chapters quite bland) And transforms into an insectoid. Which he later evolves
into an elemental the-keen, which is supposedly one of the most magically talented kinds of organisms on the planet.
Naturally, it then escalates from there. All the way until the story's completion.
Now, style-wise, the story has some very bland and plain descriptions, prose, and inner monologue. It, in all honesty- reads like the work of an amateur (No shade, just seems likely to me.) There is nothing done throughout the story to make it more interesting to read. Overall, very bare-bones, and it leaves a lot of moments in the story without impact.
Grammatically, I found many strange choices were made in terms of words and sentence structure. It's not completely unreadable, but it certainly feels as if the author knocked it out without bothering to reread and edit.
The story overall is simple enough, a simple revenge plot. Where it goes really wr
