I’ll start off by saying that this story is fine, and if it’s your first work then it’s amazing! There are a lot of trolls in here that go around dropping half a star ratings for no other reason than to ruin a person’s day. The story is fine and definitely not deserving of such a bad rating.
    Style:
The style is very much in line with a YA novel, tons of in depth descriptions of what MC is feeling with a first person POV. The writing style while a little bit more on the flowery side is still easy to follow and causes little fatigue.
    Story:
The story so far isn’t particularly unique. It’s your standard vampire romance story with a little mystery sprinkled in. While it may not be to my taste it is a competently written story so far objectively.
    Grammar:
The grammar is perfect, there wasn’t a single issue that was able to detect.
    Character:
Due to the fact that so few chapters are out, there’s very little for me to say regarding the Characters. The MC is sympathetic, The bad boy is mysterious and the best friend is a best friend, and the parents are cunts. Obviously the characters won’t be particularly well characterised or developed by the fourth the chapter, so I’m looking forward to seeing where the author goes with them.
In conclusion this story genuinely has potential and the author should keep up the good work regardless of the rating trolls.

I recently had the pleasure of reading this gripping novel, and it left a profound impact on me. From the very beginning, the author weaves a narrative that is both immersive and emotionally charged. The story introduces us to Freya, a character who feels trapped in her mundane and oppressive reality, yearning for an escape that seems both fantastical and far-fetched.
The portrayal of Freya's struggles—her harsh family environment, the relentless cycle of work and school, and her deep-seated feelings of isolation—are depicted with a raw authenticity that resonates deeply. The author excels in creating a vivid and relatable character in Freya, whose vulnerability and longing for freedom are palpable and compelling.
Blake, Freya’s best friend, adds a layer of warmth and support to the story, offering a stark contrast to the harshness Freya faces at home. His role as a confidant highlights the theme of friendship and the importance of having someone who believes in you, even when everything else seems bleak.
The introduction of a mysterious vampire figure brings an intriguing supernatural element to the narrative, creating a tantalizing sense of suspense and possibility. This twist not only enriches the plot but also symbolizes Freya's desire to escape her painful reality.
Overall, this book stands out for its emotional depth, well-developed characters, and its ability to blend real-world struggles with fantastical elements. It’s a powerful read that offers both an engaging story and a poignant exploration of personal challenges. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a compelling mix of realism and fantasy.
