However, his peaceful reverie was abruptly shattered by a swarm of intrusive blue boxes and an irksome child—some kind of sealed god, or so they claimed. Now, he found himself hundreds of feet below the surface, with his sole protectors being a child and a snail he granted magic. Since that fateful interruption, life had taken a turn for the worse. Determined to make the best of this strange new existence, Blake vows to survive in a world where the very essence of his being, magic, is deemed forbidden.
