Kakeru is a foreign exchange student from the west and recently arrived in Japan to live, what he proclaims, a "commoner's life". He finds the normal life of a teenage boy quite strange. But would that kind of peculiarity the life he's actually been yearning for?

The story revolves around the young man in his late, teenage years who discoversimportant thingsbeyond material possesions. Further beyond the things he used to have lies a secret place where vast encounters await.
