Do not make the mistake of thinking that this is merely a children's book. It might appear to hold a simple, facile tale of foolish phantasmagoria, but appearances can be deceptive…Follow this story:

To Witness Feats of Daring Do, and Quite a Few of Daring Don’tThe quest is important, except when it isn’t, which is often. Despite frequent digressions into philosophical quandaries, unplanned doilies, and fights with fowl, there’s sometimes still a faint glimmer of something important happening. This blend of action and absurdity offers readers a mix of excitement and humor.

To Read Tales Layered Like a Palimpsest of MadnessEach story is written over another, creating layers of hidden meanings that beg to be uncovered. This aspect appeals to readers who enjoy complex narratives that reveal new details upon rereading, adding depth to the experience.

Because Grimmbros Is the Hero You Never Knew You NeededFollow Grimmbros as his finely tailored yellow tweed suit with an orange twill running through it gradually falls apart along with his patience with halflings. This characterization provides a relatable hero who embodies charm and frustration, engaging readers with his journey and growth.

"A Querulous Quest" is an absolute riot of foolishness. Razzles, the knohm, is always on edge about the most ridiculous things, which makes him hilarious to follow, and then there's Grimmbros, the fancy urgh-bane who somehow manages to be both intimidating and oddly charming at the same time. Hob, Razzles' apprentice, is just trying to keep things together but ends up getting dragged into trouble. And Furguin, I still don’t know what Furguin even is, but he's obviously up to something, and it’s great.
The whole world is a rich tapestry of ridiculous fantasy stereotypes, but that’s what makes it so much fun. The humour isn't forced; it just comes naturally from how strange everything is. If you like your fantasy with quirky characters and a lot of absurd moments, this one’s a must-read.
The journey is incredible to follow and gets better and better with each chapter.
You really feel you're travelling with the characters every step of the way. You enter their world full of strange creatures and odd places. You become the 4th member of this weird group.
It's a good escape from this all too ordinary world into theirs. Trouble is you might not want to come back.

It's a great world building and very fun read, with lots of fascinating details thrown into the mix with fun little history lessons that end up progressing the world we can imagine. The characters are thought out- truly they thrive in a world such as this one- and you can relate to their struggles of having pets eat the most random and obscure things. The interesting way how the author describes the characters with not usual names of goblin or gnome, elf or orc, but something way more connected to that world with knohm and nibblin. The names as well truly show how this world is one that doesn’t necessarily focus on literature perfection, but more that of a simple minded world. Such as when Hob arrived. Razzles had no problem it seems with letting a creature stay in his house, because as it seemed, it was never a problem to him that he ever considered.
The flow of the world is a bit slow, and character talking could maybe improve the way that we think of these characters, but it also could be that they are simple minded creatures who do not care for such as talking. Something of this genre is sure to get people hooked, and i can guarantee that this story, written by Ananth Van der is something that will have readers hanging onto every word as they wait for the next chapter.
Although wording for younger readers and some complex sentences that may confuse some of the simple mind, it does have a general feel that makes it easy to figure out what you’re reading. It does trail off a bit and can be annoying to some, if you don’t like how it doesn’t focus on the main plot, but otherwise is a great story for those who want a little of just a story that tells things, explains and has a lot of worldbuilding and character backstory and development.
