Alec could not fit within society as it was so he sought to make a place for himself, gradually sacrificing everything he thought trivial while having the few things he cared about deprived from him. Given a second chance in a second world, will he succeed? Will the baggage from his first life help or further hinder him from finding a place he can call home?
