However, it clearly does not matter at all!
I'll continue to be an evil guy... right?
A Vampire Lord awoke from his Eternal Sleep plagued with visions from another world. When he broke free from his coffin, he was met with two beautiful ladies who took shelter from the rain. Before he could drain them of their blood and refocus on important things, one of them spoke up.
“You have a heart.” she claimed.
“You need to get your eyes checked by a doctor.” He snorted.Wait. What the heck is an ophthalmologist—?

- ThegreatmrsinnerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5An interesting story about how souls were abducted to fight against one another as hero's and Villains of legends just that things go a bit crossed up and our Mc gets to survive through an eternal sleep which failes and he wakes up with two humans at his coffin, Causing quite a bit of disarray and backstory/character personality shown well worth the read in my opinion so come on read don't be shy
- EzaiahsRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A quaint story that takes what is already known and manipulates them slightly to create that which is their own. It is written fine, bit better than most in terms of structure and grammar, and the story itself is an interesting enough premise.
Though there is a major error in the writing which could potentially ruin everything, which is story direction. Stories afterall are a recounting of a fictional or historical event in a way that is entertaining yet they need to have a structure and point so as to make someone want to pay attention to them.
There are many small little interesting plot points, but the author does not quite stick to any single one completely. Is this a slice of life story between a confused vampire and his servants? Is it a story of a manipulative princess whom through wit and cunning gets herself a vampire protector? Or is it about a conqueror who is slowly coming to grips with reality who will explore the world and take everything over.
After a good few chapters I, as a reader, am still confused as to where this is going. The strongest of these options, for me any how, is the game played between the princess and the MC. If it was actually a battle of wits between a powerful but easily manipulated MC and a cunning and smart, if yet a bit idealistic, princess was the centerpiece...there could be something here id say. Though then youd have to figure out where this new personality that is slowly coming to fruition plays a part, hmm, maybe it illuminates the fact that he is being easily manipulated dunno.
Though as of now it seems more like a slice of life story with some extra stuff added on, which is fine I guess. But something should be comitted to for sure. - ChaosgradRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story itself is fairly generic with an OP evil protag with fragments of a more peaceful life on earth who now decides to not be as evil. A decent premise for any web novel but the story unfortunately suffers from bad characters. The characters all have the typical tropes but the author tries to inject them into the story in an awkward manner.
MC: Supposedly a powerful vampire who has lived for millennia but has the maturity and decision making skills of a 10 year old. The author tries to make him sound really smart(and I get the whole flawed POV premise) but the character just feels like someone with the mental capacity of a child being led around the nose by other immature characters.
Princess: The princess is an example of the author being pigeonholed into bad writing because of the character's premise. The princess is supposed to be someone who can see multiple futures and so the way she acts is to create the best future for herself. A reasonable thing for sure, but the way she does it is by being condescending as heck to the MC. Since the story is mostly from the MC's point of view, it translates to the princess being annoying to the reader as well.
Rose: The princess's mage servant/friend. The typical hot head tsundere who punches first and asks questions later. Doesn't really learn from her mistakes and serves mostly to be a foil to the MC. She is however a walking trope which funnily enough, makes her the best written character of the story.
Overall: I can almost get what the author is going for, but they try to be too clever with the character's pasts/personalities and just end up making the characters feel one-dimensional and wishy-washy.
