A Memoir of the Abyss

Of all the things Monty wanted to happen in his life, waking up in a xianxia novel was at the very bottom of them.

Mysteriously summoned into the story he had finished the night prior, Monty finds himself in the body of an unknown background character sharing the same name. He soon discovers that the situation is dire and death is just around the corner. For him, getting back to his old life may be a more distant dream than he could have ever imagined.

In a world where gods, demons, and countless unimaginable horrors vie for supremacy, Monty must struggle against them if he wishes to keep his life. The simple story he knew hides countless secrets and assuming the information he has to be the truth may lead to his death. One things for certain, though. To escape his fate and this nightmare, he must be - and is - willing to use any means neccessary.
