A matter of Life and Death

The ruler of death is going on a vacation. For eons he has been writing down the stories of the dead, before helping the souls depart to the afterlife; now he has the opportunity to experience the world of the living himself.Leaving his divine form behind, Death traverses the mortal realm as a human. He planned on spending his short vacation traveling and reading books, but when an eccentric necromancer shows up, he finds himself tangled into a serious matter. The boundary separating the world of the living from that of the dead is breaking down, and he has no idea how to fix it.
