It's good fantasy and the magic system is pretty cool, give it a shot.

TLDR: Read it if you like magi-scientist skeleton MCs and character development.
    So here's the deal:
This was already a pretty great novel when the first draft was around, albeight with some slight character development and pacing issuses. Now, since The Alloquist has finished his training montage and knuckled down to do the re-write, it's even better!
We actually get some insight into our magi-scientist skeletal MC this time (remniscient of another skeleton MC on this sight, but without the god-killer stats), as he does his experimenting. The author has made it so other characters are coming to him first, instead of him going out of the vale basically on a whim, using an important part of the story from the first draft to drive the plot along in an organic way, while presening the reader with portions of the important characters' motivations along the way.
All in all, good stuff! Looking forwards to the re-write going forwards!

In the beginning I had my doubts about this novel, and I admit that it took a while to change my mind, but it did.
At the start I thought it would be a boring story with some comedic moment and with no substance, the more I kept reading though, the more I saw I was wrong.
It is developing slowly, at over 300 pages the story has just begun to get in the thick of things, but it's worth it.
The story is strictly from the MC POV, but even with that, the author managed to give characters personality, though because of the slow progress of the story I can't say more, I am confident that we'll appreciate and learn more about them in the future.
The worldbuilding is also well made though as I said before, it will be a while before i can get a true measure of how well exactly.
The grammar is good, though I have noticed missing or misplaced words a few times.
The true flaw of this story, if we can call it that, is, as I said, the slightly boring beginning and the slow progres, if you can get past that (wich I know it's hard for many) it's a good story, and I recommend it.

This new version faceslaps you with bad grammar, misspellings and more ....  There is need of an once over of the already posted chapters, instead of producing a steady flow of low quality ones. There is a limit on how much one can gloss over by being nostalgic.
Half a star was added in memory of what it once was.

The writing is good, the characters are intriguing but as of chapter 14, I don't know if the story will go anywhere.
Long story short, I like everything about it but the story. It sadly couldn't keep my interest.
So, this might more of a me problem and not so much a problem with the writing. Give it a try.

Originally found this in Scribblehub and was surprised to find it here, so i decided to rate it.
-Characters The characters feel consistant and interact with each other in a dynamic and reasonable way which is a suprisingly rare find on RLR. They don't go flip floping around to be what the plot needs them to be and they don't break character, they do exactly what you'd expect them to do.
-Worldbuilding They world building seems sparce as of chapter 43. Not much is told about the world other than the places the characters directly find themselvs in. For example there's not much on the nation they find themselves in. The focus is left out on the local culture and the lack of descriptions about the the world around them leaves the story feeling a bit bland to read at times.
-Grammar The grammar is consistant, no faults that i could spot.
-Style Is alright but lacking anything particularly distinct about it.
-Overall  Overall i'd say this novel provides a fair amount of entertainment in the way the characters interact with each other even if the worldbuilding lacks a bit at times.

The story has an interesting initial pull and mystery with a likable main MC and other core viewpoints. It has strength in good unique characters and potential world building.(think of churches, magic/magical creatures, nobles, commoners, multiple continents, kingdoms)
Before I get into what most people won't like about this, I left a big bold message.
The writer has done well in show not, tell. This is true in character and more so in the world building. Clarity has been occasionally provided which still allows for the mysteries to remain.
The big bad which will probably take away most readers.
Pacing will more than likely be either something you're ok with or not, where in 60ish or so chapters multiple POVs can cover 3-6 chapters of the same timeline, making the progression of the story hard to see. It's has depth compared to most stories on RR.
I'd personally recommend cutting it down to something more palatable for readers. Clearing up the confusion from the shitf could make better pull for readers. In the span of a few chapters we have what seem to be a core group of people, but because there is so much to read, I keep getting a bit lost on who is who and their relation to organizations/people especially the paladins and soldier group. It takes away from a strength this author has.
A big way this might happen is to not shift the pov every chapter keeping it to a few chapters and focus on MC and use secondary core viewpoints on important and or developmentally important events. The multiple POVs slow he story too much and some of this could be spread out to keep the timeline and characters more straight. I wouldn't eliminate them, just choose who's viewpoint has the strongest impact story or character wise.
    Overarching ex.
4(5+?) viewpoints at once for the singular event of the first adventure of the story, all moving in the same timeline is a bit chaotic for the introduction. Some events could have been conveyed well, consise, and focused enough to give impact

I found the idea of this story rather interesting. Old Lich leaves their castle and goes exploring the world. We did have a few of these and most of them were rather entertaining. Now the raw gist of the plotline here is interesting and could have made for a great story, there's just one big problem. The god damn pacing of this story.
What other authors would do in 2000-5000 words this author does in 50k words. We get boatloads of meaningless conversation, endless worldbuilding and banter. Then we have three different POVs that seem to switch more or less at random, usually directly after a cliffhanger as much as this story has those - further bloating the wordcount and meaningless story the reader has to slog through.
As it is it seems to me that the author fails to understand story actually needs plot progress. Worldbuilding is something that you fit in the plot, not plot is something you fit between banter and worldbuilding.
Basically as I read this story, my interest started to drop. I was really excited after the first few chapters, but then nothing happened. And nothing happened. And I started to skip past stuff, trying to find plot progress... and then I skipped some more.
If you think the Simarillion is an exciting read this may be something for you. To me it seems more like intentionally bloating the wordcount to get more moneys from Patreon.
